Saw that yesterday. I suppose it's coming soon to rF2 as well.
Ales finally showed up today on RD and said they'll be fixing the pit stop times on the Ford but are waiting on the public tires to be released to do a full update.
I wonder if they'll also wait for that before releasing the T5.

Saw a FB post saying about 2-3 weeks till an rF2 release of the new T5 cars. They also have posts on FB about 1997 GT1. Really curious about that.

I didn't think tires for this would be released to the public. Aren't we still waiting on the GT3 tires to hit the public stage?

With the T5 2018 cars you can't refuel when entering pits. There's no option to setup fuel strategy either in the setups menu nor the pit selection menu.
Loving the cars so far. Hope this gets fixed soon

EDIT: Actually now that I think about it, this is likely intentional as DTM cars don't refuel during races.

EDIT2: Did a couple of AI tests at Hockenheim and Lausitzring:
1 Hr races
Fuel - Normal
Tire Wear - x2
All cars pitted once for tires between the 40-45 minute mark, so it actually works perfectly :)

How does the DRS work with AI drivers, do they activate it at DRS zones? I keep seeing the message “rear flap is now enabled” after a set period of time.

Afaik, it's the same as the old T5. It's track dependent and will be a hit and miss depending if the track has DRS zones set correctly.
Also if I remember correctly, they'll use it in every straight during practice and quali sessions and only in specific DRS zones during a race.
Best way to test it i think is with your own car throughout different sessions. If it's available for you, they're likely using it.
Also take a closer look at their wings to see when they're using it.

No information thread about the 2018 mod? At the shop are zero information about the used technics, included rf2 features etc.
Its a wee bit buying a "pig in a poke"...
not gonna disagree but cars feels great at any track i played
super fun especially at Rain conditions
i did a rain race at Zandvoort and was a pleasure racing them.
