@ Foxiol.....what GPU are you using, just out of interest?

 

Gigabyte GTX560Ti OC 1GB. Yet a dual core CPU 3.0Ghz, 4GB RAM and a mobo that I need to upgrade...then again the GPU for a 780. (I play tons of games not just racing simulators and I need more power)

 

I'd love a GTX780 but I think they are substantially over-priced.

Yup...I´m waiting till first I can upgrade the core of my system and then for a price drop. 680´s are still in the market, once they take them out the 780 should have a price drop.

AMD also need to release their new GPU´s. By now if we talk about price AMD GPU´s are way cheaper and perform almost the same as Nvidia. But I don´t like AMD drivers compared to Nvidia. (I had AMD before)


@Ales: No problem. Better for you to make comparisons.

 

This ongoing support, on top of the original content, is what can greatly justify the price tag. I second the words of appraisal .

 

AMD's drivers are much better now. I've had hardly any problems whatsoever in the last year. They used to be bad but not any more.

Hmm we had difficult issue recently, certain type of texture was causing crashes for users with Nvidia, but no problem with ATI

Hi, alot of work here. Im completly overhauling T5 at this moment.

Sofar done:
cockpit vibrations reduced,
mirrors adjustable,
cockpit shaders/materials reassigned-new textures-shading added-scratches added,
all cars exteriors materials tweaked and completly new reimported into the game,
rims will be paintable now-had to remove blur for that and added some reflections,
half skins done for 2013 season so half still to go(some will stay similar to 2012),
and some other fixes like detached few windows and now light comes on lights plastic and inside cockpit from exterior view to...

Still to do is the tire degradation, setup for cars will open bit more and sounds but sounds will probably come with some later version.
And new driver will be added we got template for now.

 

Any idea when you will release V 1.5? Days, weeks, months? Because we are planning to start a championship in two weeks

Ive done DRS lights on the LCD monitor but and im looking for sound how to implent it. Anybody has an idea about that becase i cant find anything actually?

 

I don´t think DRS "makes a sound" since inside the car the prominent sounds are the engine and gearbox whine.

Not sure what others ask for...maybe some kind of "click" while pressing the button or something? I personally don´t need it, with the light is more than enough (and I don´t really even need it because I know when I press the buttons or not)

 

Probably something like click but i cant find anything about that actually.
Ive added DRS lights on the LCD in the line with RPM where on left side is actually big light and on right side once you activate DRS the name shows up, both in green colors. Screen added.

I don't think that we need a sound for the DRS, that light is enough. Really like it

 

I hope you don't add any sounds. Having the light is already not realistic, adding a sound would suck. There are plenty of custom HUDs (F1 Arcade is great) that have icons for DRS, so you shouldn't have to add anything to the cockpit, much less sounds.
