    beta v.94

    feature list:
    • It's rather a beast to drive - 247 HP
    • Probably has too much grip
    • Is very competitive with the Clio (if you can hang on to it)
    • Beefed up brakes - you'll need em'
    • Visibility bigger rear wing
    • Front splitter (functional)
    • Visibility wider tires

    A simple thank you just isn't enough man! This car saved my day! I'm having a horrid time at work, but driving this car around Croft put me in such a good mood that I think I can handle what ever unpleasant stuff this day will bring. :)

    just took it for test. feels great to me. Only thing I noticed was virtual mirrors are no useable . just too overexposed image (white out)

    hmmm, that's odd. I would've thought this would've been brought up in the other versions, since they all share the same basic settings. Can you post a screenshot and provide your graphics setup?

    Fantastic car, the funniest! I can't stop making laps with!...My wife is not happy! lol

    I keep everything by default.

    The only flaw, IMO, is the AI definitely too slow, even in practice session!

    Try them at LimeRock Park or LochDrummond

    You are right , I did my test on LimeRock Park (nochicanes) as usual but I forgot to change the AI strength (I had left it at 90% I use with tracks I don't know well) to 100% : now the AIs are fast enough (for me, lol).

    To conclude, your car is perfect for me (FFB, grip,car behavior and so on) : if somebody asks you to change something ("the car is skidding too much" or things like that) please, don't believe it! don't listen to him!...:)

    I cant' provide my pov before tonight (in around 4 or 5 hours from now). If the challenge is good with Clio I feel some pretty good races coming! ;) Man, a Miata with 247HP, can't wait!

    So I tried it with the Clio 1.42 at Sebring and Croft.....at Sebring the Miata just flies away on the straight, I get close in the corners but they fly away again :) At Croft, which is hard to overtake, I can stay close all the time, but impossible to overtake as they have much more power :)

    Conclusion: I think they are not a match in my humble opinion.

    Good fun though! :)

    PS: I had no mirror issues as mentioned in previous posts.

    There is a match on slow tracks (with many corners : Mores for instance or LRP with chicanes) but no match on fast tracks (it's obvious : the SCL2 has a maximum speed too high for the Clio).

    At Portugal GP (Estoril) the SCL2 can race against the Corsa cup (it's a mod not well known but the car is slightly faster than the Clio).

    Otherwise, PlickBadger will have to make a "supercharged Clio" :)!

    So it's a bit too fast for the Clios? This is not a big deal, I can dial back the power a little to even them out. This is why this is still in beta and you guys are testing :) thanks for the feedback so far

    " I can dial back the power a little " : but only a very little, a "small little" because the SCL2 is very fun to drive like it is and if you lower too much the power it will become a SCL1 !:)
    It's only the maximum speed that it's too high for the Clio.

    Are you planning a S3 like in rF1? If so then can match this to Clio and still have ultra insane version too.

    Edit - Interesting this scl2 seems like rf1 scl3

    I just did an AI race at LimeRockPark nochicanes with SCL2 and Clio : the first four cars are Clio!! and the laptimes are very very close.
    So, at LRPnochicanes the cars are even!...perhaps no need to change?

    Ok, after an hour on different tracks I have nothing bad to report. All is fine IMO. New bumper and rear wing are spot on, larger tires really nice, power versus grip seems perfect IMO. The car is really harder to drive but this is fully expected and fun! :) Also I appreciated new cameras you set, hood, chase and bumper (thanks for the bumper view higher!), and the retroactive changes for previous Miata.

    All 3 versions (Miata 1.10, SCML1 v1.0 and SCML2 v0.94) tested and approved! :)

    I'm really happy, and (light) changes you may possibly do regarding other reports will not break this happiness feeling I have with those cars!

    Now I need to understand what mean "bleep the clutch?" or something like that I read somewhere to avoid spinning when down shifting not at the right engine speed, but that's a problem I have with lot of cars ;)
