Maybe they did as you asked but just haven't told you. Equally might not be worth their time to them.

That is what I said probably can't smell their own ....

Worth their time to leave funds gathering interest and then take when statue of limitations is passed.

Now they say we will make pCars moddable but we won't support you

So they lied and broke their word to everyone brought it on the premise it would not be moddable.

    ISI does not BS

    P.S. p lol

So now they both embrace modding and neither cares what people release.

Were as ISI officially support modders with affiliation. ! lmao

I have honestly not driven a single AC mod that feels even a patch on rF2 ?? Have you ???
F3.5 mod is woefully boring compared to rF2 and I don't even like driving them.

SMS mods with their imaginary data would be just as bad.

Do you honestly think they care about some 27 euro? I was actually surprised they paid anything back to WMD members, not many companies would care about their past beta testers. ISI paid nothing back to those who bought rF2 beta for full price, nor did I expect anything back of course.

I don't think they care but I thought they would at least acknowledge the sentiment ! :)

    What about ISI ?

Who never got a refund that wanted one ?

They give 7 days no questions asked.

If you buy full version AC and pCars today there is NO refund.

    ISI you have 7 days

??? lol like comparing chalk and cheese ?

Dont start on ISI and compare then to SMS .....pleeeeassee lmao rof

ISI never made some grand statement about the sim being a investment and then get themselves in legal hot water.

That is the reason you get money and more then they intended I bet ....... they broke the law and did what they did to escape more penalty.

Over here you didnt access a "development" (and closed) community as a member with a early investment. WMD members were NOT beta testers. They were involved (theoretically) in the development of the software. Different members levels were giving you access to specific area of the software (more money, more access). This has nothing to do with ISI and rF2 model. :)

You are 100% a customer for ISI, not part of a product investment.. as for me with SMS since that time I bought the final game on Steam, even before I got my money back as WMD member.

    Apples and Oranges. :)

    Night 'n Day lol

THE BEST things ISI could do for rFactor3:

Make a paid time limited full online trial.
More advertising even if it embellishes the truth. hehe
    Licence System and official championships.

THE BEST thing KUNOS and SMS could do for Assetto Corsa 2 and Projectcars 2:

    Use rFactor2 physics

    lol sorry its my truth

    agreed re.rf3 , online subscription ( a cost effective one ) + x8 laser scanned tracks
-obviously not laser scanned for historic tracks which should be bulk of content ( as Isi do it so well )
offline with option of AI too of course for those that like AI

Tim sort of shut me down on that idea when I first suggested oinks ago.

Seemed like a win win to me. :)

ISI make a little more from everyone that trials and we get more people online.

You would have the 4 ISI servers packed again :)

I just can't see anyone in there saying ....." this sucks" ;)

And some of us could donate time to be in those rooms and give newcomers best welcome.

I would price same as iRacing trial isn't that about $10 no refund.

If you decide to stay with ISI the $10 comes off full price.

P.S. I would also make it a forced online demo no offline just like iR so you must get into rooms.

Still have a free limited content offline demo of course.

AC and pCars have Steam refunds which is 14 days. The reason they didn't have it before was that Steam didn't support it. I don't understand point of the rant in this thread. SMS gives you some money back, be happy and move on. I would be very happy if I ever got 27€ back from a company.

I seen people spend days even weeks let alone 2 hours trying to tweak FFB and other stuff.

    lol

14 days is better then rF2 oh I see !!! poff course !!! you can spend 8 minutes a day playing it.......... lol

and wtf would that matter Jamie mate ? :)
If you dont play it htf would you know.

What do you bring pCars home and look at it for a fortnight ? lol

and read last post that is 8 minutes a day............you still going to argue about fair policy.

    Okay I am listening ? :)

It takes ME more then a day to even start to tweak all settings in anything.................

Way I see it ISI return policy is 84 times better then Steam ? 168 hours VS 2 hours

    all she wrote

That's is why I say rF2 should not even have a demo or if they do it should be 2 Hours !

    :)

I think a month full trial online for $10 would be best ...imho.

rF2 is no different to AC and pCars, you cant make up your mind in 2 hours and equally nor can you make up your mind about rF2 only offline and a handful of content you may not even like or normally drive.

But at least with ISI you can spend $45 and get 127 hours online and 1 hour to get a refund.

    ;)
