Cars are turning into black boxes at distance...have reloaded shaders...all settings maxed... HDR on...ATI video card
- Black boxes on cars for some video cards, current fix is (in the session) settings, then set HDR profile to none. From the know issues of build 125.
My skip barber mod wont show up in the mod manager. Please help. Mod downloads always fail when online and I cant see LRP or the Skippy in the mod manager
its not really a bug, but if you select car number 10 you see a picture of the ISI F1 2012 car i believe
Two things and I'm trying to be funny or anything. First, did you download the Skip cars and LRP track? They are a seperate download from the Update. Second, did you put the download in the Packages folder? If you did both, sorry I don't know what might be wrong.
Thanks, I did both and I have no idea why it isnt working, I think I will completely re install and see if it works. Thanks
When I enter the session for the SB , it never starts . I can't start it using the ignition/ start combo like I do with other mods . I went back to the 60's mod and no problem with that in it . Anyone else ?
No, you then lose environment reflections set HDR profile to none as per the build thread Sent from a mobile device using Tapatalk
Theres also a small bug where brown dirt in the grass seems to appear in front of the windscreen instead of behind it
I've been experiencing similar black squares in HDR implementation with OpenGL. These kind of errors usually occur if shader outputs infinite values. Bloom filter, given one such "rogue pixel" will propagate it onto nearby pixels on screen. Depending on blur filter size you will get smaller or bigger white quads (filled with +INF). Black quads are produced by -INF values or NaN values ("Not a Number") that got written to HDR render target. Without blur, "rogue pixel" is just one pixel on screen and you will problably not notice it. With blur enabled it immediately turns into a black or white square. I suggest putting a check on final shader output value and produce black pixel in case of NaN, INF or simply value out of range. This way "rogue pixel" will still be black but it will not propagate onto other pixels when bloom is used. Of course shaders need to be reviewed for possible NaN sources, but having such check at shader output will minimize damage in case of errors. Eventually, such sanity check could be performed by HDR shaders when image is being downscaled for postprocessing (most implementations dowsncale by 2 or 4 before performing bloom to save some perfomance).
I have an issue where i select skip barber but i can play only with te regional car and there isn't a way to select national. I know that tires are different, but i don't have option to change them. Please help!
When you select car, go to TUNING, select series and then check "National" instead of "Regional" If you already knew this and still can't select national, ignore this
VMod Mismatch: If you join a room the game allows you to choose regional or national as you enter...but if server is only hosting national car and you have regional selected you can still join the room but you then get a "server does not recognise vehicle" mismatch and quickly booted...not sure if this is a bug or just how it is but i thought VMods were supposed to stop mismatches so ill report it anyway cheers
