Simvibe about to be released (edit)**RELEASED Now available http://simxperience.com/Products/So...the day before the new ISI F2 ......perfect !
Looks cool. You may also want to have a look at this alternative for a setup that needs not be as elaborate as the one described above but that provides some very good tactile feed back. The system uses actual data from the game rather than just sound. I have owned one for some 3 years now and am very satisfied with it. The unit, TFS by Ivibe, is a simple padding that you can just put on the chair you are currently racing on. www.ivibe.com
Is ButtKicker the best bass transducer?and is one ButtKickers is enough or I need 2 ButtKickers? thanks
Gclub 1 is fine, some use 2 ( 1 for seat & 1 for peddals ) I use x4, x2 buttkickers (which are great) but recently added x2 aura pro shackers but not used these yet as awaiting simvibe Best read up on which are best etc, not really read anywhere that any are bad Elbo -that looks good too bet it will be great with simvibe
Ok thanks.I will buy one(ButtKicker Simulation Kit) because I have to buy the CSR-elite! Can I make one more question?I saw that the kit has already the Amplifier!where it(the amplifier) should be connected?
Amp plugs onto the out of your soundcard (use a splitter) Obviously when simvibe is released then plug amp into the 2nd soundcard (read simvibe instructions on the link in 1st post) This will explain everything
I'm pretty sure it uses the same data as the motion, so rfactor 2 will be instantly compatible no probs ( I use rfactor 1 & rfactor 2 with the sim commander software and motion works very good )
SimVibe is a free update to Commander 3 software ... Which is also free but in order to obtain a licence, you have to own a Simxperience simulator or at least the actuator controller box ... Correct me if I am wrong but I am not sure that SimVibe will be available for purchase ...
I've read a sim commander lite version to include simvibe will be available as a free download on release, So it should be avaiable to all
SimXperience SimVibe Available Now Hello, SimVibe is available for purchase even for those that do not have a SimXperience motion simulator. It is however a free feature for those that do own our motion sims. You can connect 1 to 8 bass transducers with SimVibe. In my opinion, 4 transducers at all four cornrs of the sim is optimal. We call this SimVibe Chassis Mode. It provides for direction feedback. Things that happen in the front left actually happen in the fronnt left of the sim , etc.. Here is a quick conneciton diagram: View attachment 4185 Throughout the development process we tested many transducers, amplifies and transducers. None were completely satisfactory, but all were decent. The result of this effort was a collaboration with the folks at ButtKicker to produce an udpated version of their mini LFE product called the ButtKicker Mini LFE SE. This transducer is well optimized for use with SimVibe. This is really interesting stuff! But for using Buttkicker Mini LFE SE with Simvibe you also need an amplifier right? Can you recommend an amplifier in that case for at least 4 transducers?
++++++++++++11111..would be nice if Simvib offers a bundle that include 2-4Mini LFE SE and an amlifier!
I'm using SimVibe and I must say it's just superb! It gives you that exta feeling of what is going on under you. Works with most "tru" sims, but also with arcade sims like the CM Dirt and F1 series. The Amp just needs to be able to driver the basskickers/transducers, so it depends what power is needed. An ordinary stereo/hifi amp will do the trick. I have written a review for SimHQ that will be posted soon. EDIT: It will not be released until mid next week.
I look forward to read that review! So with this software the function isn't better with a low-frequency amplifier? If that is the case thats awesome news since its much easier to find cheap multichannel full-frequency amplifiers.
