I hope rFactor III will be released with DOS Extender 386. So I can use it with my whooping 8MB of memory! Of course, in high resolution SVGA 640x480 with 65,535 colors! :p

So you're saying it won't run on my Z80 processor?

I'm looking forward to R Factor 26, which will use an 8D monitor, which is similar to 3D but melts your eyeballs. How is this thread not closed yet?

Hardly any game uses 64bit code as it is. Will be many years before anything more will be adopted.
Also regardign building a new rig to be future proof for rFactor 3, how many years between rFactor 1 and 2? You will prob go through 2 pc's or more before rFactor 3. Lifespan of a pc is about 4-5 years max before a rebuild is necessary, and that's if you buy the best of the best when you build your rig.
It's been 4 years since I built my current rig and am in the process of building a new one now and selling the current one.
Only reason I got this long out of it is I spent around 3 1/2 grand when I initially built it.

While we're at it, what about rFactor 5 and 1024 bit systems?

Mitt, do you know some end user 128 bit operating system? If no, why do not ask for 512 bit?

Mr Wilson, I suggest you change your nickname to Nostradamus. It appears to be more appropriate. It looks like you live in your own fantasy world. I guess you are the typical technology freak no older than 25 that whose contact with real word is still yet to come. The people in this forum work hard everyday to release a product which is in beta phase, with a lot of hard work to do to get an outstanding final product. That is their only concern at the moment. Lots of beta-customers are complaining and writing threads and threads of critics due to the actual stage of the game. If ISI employees want to guarantee that they will be taking some money home in the NEAR future they better think in the present. Otherwise, no bank would finance your desired rF3 either. But I repeat you might think that money falls from the sky in nice black cases. I would be really scared to have you working in my company.
