Yes, of course... there are a lot of things more important than this at this moment.

I was just asking if anybody knows a hidden parameter in DX11.ini file or something like that...

    I don't agree with this.
The lack of DX11 plugins is preventing many people to use the rF2-DX11 version.
And with VR the HUDs are difficult to use.
The more people using VR, the more info S397 will have, and S397 can solve the bugs before.

This is not true, the VR headsets project the image at a specific distance (1.3m for Oculus), our eyes focus on a fixed distance no matter if you look at the dashboard or the scenery.

You are right, but we are not talking about this kind of focus. Maybe "focus" is not the correct word to describe it. I think the correct term is "stereoscopic distance".

Well, this was what I replied to:
It wasn't clear for me what did you refer to in your post about the positioning of the HUD, that's why I did not quote it...

Really? I mean the current gui is like 90s... A modern ui would make it feel coming from a different planet. New technics will allow endless additional features, etc.

Sure, this is correct, hopefully rF2 evolves and be competitive with other online racing titles. But if I have a choice - improve flags, AI or new UI, I would pick first. But, hopefully we'll get both and everyone's happy :)

I dislike huds in VR, a real immersion killer. I prefer the displays to be integrated into the dash. Works great on say the Flat 6 mod which shows the laps and position on the wheel display. I little trickier with historic cars but I would still prefer a bolt on display option attached to the car than some floating box in space!

Same here, I pretty much never use HUDs, only to pit. Another thing to keep in mind that many racing series prohibit telemetry while in race. But people are different, and we all have different preferences, so I hope UI will get improved for you guys who are longing for it :)

In iracing I use to reduce the size of info box & position then inside the car low down so I had to look down to see, that's the best imo

So sizeable & moveable is the best option for vr user preference
( otherwise lots of moaning & conflicting opinions etc)

Lack of plugins and the current UI are actually preventing me from joining a league as I don't want to race "blind". The performance has increased a lot since first release though, hope it continues

No Replay shown in game as soon as I switch to VR. In case I do leave VR off in the video settings I'm able to watch replay and/or other drivers when I'm in the garage. Any advice is very much appreciated.

Thanks for the information - thus I can stop searching for configuration failures on my side. Hopefully replays going to be added soon.

the opening post is very misleading to new ppl to vr, these are YOUR personal preferred settings, there is no need whatsoever to tell ppl to go into the nvidia control panel and start changing settings,

vr works fine with default nvidia settings and ive never had to change anything in the CP,

playing in vr should be no different from playing on a monitor in regards to settings, all the opening post does is overload ppl with unnecessary information and give the impression vr is more work than it really is
