I have a problem with my rFactor. When I click on "Load Track" my game crashes. I can't play online or offline. In both cases the game crashes. I already tried to reinstall the game, but the problem ist still there. I hope you can help me.
Have you tried to reinstall your Dx9? This can sometimes cause issues and is fast and easy to do so would be worth a shot.
Just google directx update and do it. Should link you to the Microsoft website, you don't need to worry about dx9 or dx11, just make sure directx is updated
Thnaks for the help, but I believe the problem is not with DirectX, because I have others games based on rFcator (Formula Truck and Stock car from Reiza Studios) and they run normally. Only the original rFcator crash qhen I click on "load track".
Might be a missing mas file or somethin, I think there was 1 time that this happened to me too. Try to do a second install of RFactor in a different location folder, then make sure the version you are using now isn't missing any mas files. I'll look up which folder these files are in later when I go on my comp.
I downloaded the installation file from rfactor.net, so I believe the file is Ok. About the second installation, I already tried but the problem was not solved. I'd like to thank you for your help. Regards,
Have you ever had a good installation from the file you downloaded? If not, download the file again to see if the one you have is corrupt. If possible download from a different location.
Not yet, Gearjammer. All tries were in the same PC and all of them with problem. I'll try to download again (and form another source) when I arrive at home. Thanks.
I just downloaded the installation file again but the problem did not solved. I´m almost giving up...
Hi, Analyzing the game, I realized that the bar at the bottom of the screen goes black when I select any track, as can be seen in the attached file. This would be indicative of some problem? How can I solve this? Thanks for some help. View attachment 7615
