Hi Tim, and others with black screen problem. I sent a an email to support on this on Sunday with details of steps I've been through so far after installation on a new computer. On the point you make here, when I carry out Ctrl,Alt,Del I see the *.exe in the task manager which shows as 'Not responding' and I simply wait about 2mins until the games kicks in. Game runs fine, but on exit race again there is another 2min patient wait to get back to the main menu. I am going to follow this thread, and will update as I continue to explore further from reading all other black screen threads as it seems problem can due to many different issues. It would be good to collate all potential issues that can result in the black screen issue and post all checks to carry out in a 'troubleshooting' section on the refactor.net website. Do you have a list of checks / resolutions to this particular problem? Regards Greg
it's under a non-default directory... d;/games/rfactor2/ ahh. you must install under the default directory ?
