On the Session Settings, check what filters are selected for your opponents.

(It's where you set time, realroad, AI, etc)

I'm curious as heck if this turns out to be a success or if it was a flop. I do know now that Steam gets a large cut of the cost so in the end it this is all worth it to ISI or not.
Ive seen more unfamiliar names in these forums in the last week or two than I ever have during any other 1-2 week period. I know that's not saying much but it's at-least a positive [emoji3]

The servers I have setup for my league site (GetMod working yay) have seen a few people come in and join, a bunch with Your Nickname.

can some help me?
i moved my non steam rf2 to steam. now, how can i get lifetime to it? cause it says i can get only 1 years subscribes.

Hey guys. Thanks for the replys. Im using Global Profiler Settings. Driving aid or steering help is off of course. I reinstalled everything. I runned both as a admin - at least i tried. Because when you run the steam version (from steam itself or the rfactor2.exe) there is like a popup window which lets you download stuff and choose between single or multiplayer, development mode and so on. Then it starts the game. After trying everything which may solve the problem after googling it, im curious if this is not maybe a major bug of the fresh new steam version and if more people are affected. Other Games like AC and ProjectC work fine with the Profiler.

Greetings,
I also use a g25/win7 so I tried to see if vehicle set works for me and it changes nothing. I have my rotation set to 540 and it stays there no matter what I do in game. I don't have a steam install. I guess if you want less rotation you'll have to set it manually in logi profiler or windows device settings. I have both of those set to allow games to make changes. Good luck and enjoy!

done; ouf; it s important to watch future evolution; it s a warantee for users, rf2 and isis; so hope that community would be less eparse, and more concentrated ( there is so lot of web site for so not enough players) if isis can canalysed the chennal it would be fantastic for expansion
regards

Pardon?!

Je me permets de traduire ton franglais:

isis = this is/this thing/it (fig. "ceci" -this thing [which is being discussed, Steam])
eparse = sparse
canalysed = channeled
chennal = by this method, i.e. "Steam provides a good central point to concentrate user base as opposed to fragmented current system"

Attention, en anglais ISIS, c'est DAESH!

@Spinelli: I wanted for rF2 to be on Steam. So after a few years non simracing (played rF1 since 2005-2013) I am back into it.
The Steam workshop is great. I love it. And rF2 is a great sim. I enjoy simracing again! Thank you ISI!

See you all on track soon. IfI stay this slow I Will become a fulltime simrace safetycar driver ;)

Solution to what? It isn't easy hunting for your problems with just a screenshot ;).

I think he is saying he cant make a all cars mod in Steam, I would find that strange, don't you make the same mods ?

OR he means he can't run all cars in "all cars and tracks" ...........in that case make a mod. ?

The only thing you cant do is add Howston G4 to all cars ........it will CTD Online room, trust me.

Covette GT2 and the Nissan since update you can now add with no CTD, they used to as well.

You will be "stuck" on the latest build. If you usually simply update - then theres nothing to worry about, however several leagues are using older builds, so check with your league before doing anything.

I haven't gone through the full thread, so maybe I'm missing something, but I'm worried about Steam users being forced to install the latest build as soon it's available. I'm a league admin, and I think no league admin wants to upgrade the game 3 days before a championship race (We did in the past, had some problems and promised ourselves to not to do it again). Is there any way of disabling this behaviour or will the Steam users be left out of the race because we refuse to update our RF2 servers?

@spinelli Same here! I was away from simracing for 3 years (played rF1 from 2005-2012). Now I have a new pc and rF2 is on steam I start simracing again! I like rF2 and the steam workshop is great! Thank you ISI and gongratz with rF2 on Steam.

See you all on track!
If I stay this slow I will become a permanent simrace pacecar driver;)

Just a theory:
Set rF2 update to "only update when I lanch this game" and don't touch it if your Steam is online. Always use offline mode to play it.
You think it would work?

How would using the game only in offline mode help online leagues who want to stick with a prior version?

+1

Still think we shoot yourselves in the foot sometimes.

This morning non-steam I see 25 single driver rooms and 14 with 2 drivers averaging in at 1.3 drivers a room.

ISI OPEN SERVERS ................empty every day

You want to try something................put up F3 Historic rotating on the 3 historic tracks up for a week.
