Just curious, Marcel said that RF2, source code and branding is owned by 397 and that 397 is wholly owned by Luminis. Where does the ISI/Luminis partnership come in?
Fastest current lap time at LeMans (I asked)
ISI dev team going to Studio 397.
Thank youActually it's the highest number of laps ever run at LeMans![]()

Does this agreement mean, that ISI will get the DX11 and VR updated engine too?
The question was about, whether only Studio 397, or both S397 and ISI can use the newly added features.
In other words, is the new engine going to be a common platform that both companies can build up from?
The partnership relates to RFactor2, not a new engine but further development of the current - not sure I get the question.
I think he means if ISI can use the new features/techs for other projects, for example 'not rF3'. Maybe ISI won't need these new features because 'not rF3' is not even a race-sim!
Tim confirms in the Race Department interview that "not rF3" is a racing sim.
