i've this problem the on board visual is too bright and the colours are so faded I deleted player.json cbash and shaders folders like usally after an update but I can't fix the problem .......
Nothing can be done to that except create a custom HDR profile. This is due to HDR overexposure in cockpit, issue which has been mentioned over and over again on these forums. According to Tim it's fault of a too dark cockpit interior, but this problem exist on 90% of closed-cockpit cars in more or less extent...
I think this setting is more intended to users of servo drive wheels. Not to those normal consumer wheels like fanatec/thrustmaster/logitech.
I`m still away from my sim rig so can`t test this build but maybe turning off HDR etc as suggested by Babs may help hexa...
My mirrors do work but their FOV seems wrong. Other cars appear overly large and very blocky in them. Not very convinced by this build yet. The enhanced magnitude of in-cockpit over-exposure and the 'hazy' look to the outside environments are a step back in terms of day-time driving IMO. Also did some laps at night at Lime Rock and Interlagos, and this does seemd to have improved significantly. edit: auto-updated from B880 edit 2: cars do not appear in the selection screen garage anymore. Gonna do a re-install.
Thanks man, but I won't be turning off HDR. There has got to be another solution. Gonna test more tonight.
Thanks ISI, I would check this out but I'm playing Elite...maybe tomorrow That requires an update of the Track so nothing to do with Build updates.
"Fix for replays not loading some *.mas skins. (skins shared over multiplayer may still not load)" What this actually means? A bugfix that dont fix it? This is an important issue in league racing. Anytime we want to do a race report we are just showing screens of ISI skins which completely misrepresenting it all. Dont quite understand why such an important thing is just partially solved.
No improvements to Nvidia SLI performance with multiview+ HDR. Still experiencing stuttering and low framerates (12-15 fps). Have any multi-gpu multi-monitor users noticed performance differences with this build?
Many changes in this build, some good, some .... not so much. New UI looks very promising, I have wanted to see it fully implemented. Many bug fixes, yet still leaving many to solve. New values for scene post-gamma are horrible. The game looks washed, everything you see whitish, as if he had a thin layer of cloud that all the light does not pass. I had to reduce the brightness of the monitor to achieve "acceptable" colors .... The lighting is more constant and homogeneous throughout the day, but completely erroneous. At midday seem to 9 in the morning. At dawn and dusk ambient light is too low, the night is too light, you can drive perfectly on any circuit without lights .... And the sun was still leaking from below when this lower than the circuit completely spoiling the transition day-night. I had high hopes for this build to see changes in the HDR in the notes but it has been a great disappointment and a big step back.
where is the "rF2 reactivation"-button? it was in the "purchase"-section now you get a link to the commerce site
