But we have to know that this racing sims dont run only the 3d aspect, sounds, physics and so on, everything must be done by the game to run it smothly which affects the fps to. Outerra may support real physics values, sounds, animations but how many at once and than again how will this be affected online whit 20+ players. Ofcourse rf2 could have everything far better in quality 3d but it wouldnt run as it should thats why there are limited stuff. Its a case in every game sofar.

Skippy looks really good, reflections looks better than previous cars. And I remember it was a big improvement when Brabham was released. But it gets better and better.

In controller options you can set up a button for zooming. Also for free cam and to move it around the track

 

Can't really get the move functions for the free cam to work...
Mapped "W A S D" to move, but it is fu**ed up when try it ingame. If i want to move left, it moves right. If i want to move up, it moves down left. The other 2 buttons doesnt work.

I don`t know how your cams are not working if you`ve mapped them to do so. Just enable free cam (I think default is the U key but you can map a key for that too if you want) and then zoom in, out, spin around the car etc till you find a nice angle and take the screen.

Should work ok.

I press the end key to activate free cam, and the U key to activate free look if I am in the car, or on a camera attached to car.

Z and X are good they out of the way.


CAPS is a good alternative key as nothing ever uses it.
( I use caps for Fraps ie: mapped to wheel using Joy2Key )

 

I have all my cam keys set to my joystick. All the inputs are analog so you can make precise adjustments.

 

As the other guys says, you need to map a key to enable free cam. Then you can move around.

But if you are using outside view of the car, and enable free cam, then it cam move right when you press left etc...
