    The fight was going hot!

Just one last try into the last corner.. Come on!

But I couldn't make it stick. Rass had a better acceleration out of the last corner.

This was the best race I had with rF2 and with tracks like this it can only get better! I love the Clio's because of the close battles you can have with them. Thankyou Rass101, Kaj Nurmi and Pillowhead for the awesome 15 lap race and fair battles! Cya guys on track, hopefully

Photobucket downsizes pictures above 1mb so just a few are 1080p. Originals are 1080 though so if you'd like to have one, its possible ;)

Indeed. I tend to cut through traffic pretty well (probably a bit too unrealistically well) but the AI always gets bunged up. I had a fantastic 3-lap slipstream battle going on the high banks until we hit a few lapped cars. Suddenly I was more than 9 seconds ahead.

Thing is, when I run F2 races I like throwing in a few F3 cars because they help break up the field a bit. Of course, this leads to them also ruining close battles I have with the other AI...

Don't know how this works in rf2, but I know well about rf1.

I spend hours and hours and hours by trying various combinations of .ini AI settings + ingame AI but any attempt on making nice AI that would pass succesfully AND not crash in each other failed.
So in the end I simply decided to turn off any damage and set aggressivity to 100%. Disadvantage of this is that they can run into you and other cars but if you simply overlook that, it's the most realistic offline races you can get, especially in multiclass races because only then they can overtake very well.
Especially with VLN series it is necessary to use 90+% aggression, else you will find SP8 lambos crawling behind clios and minis so you will win the race no matter how slow you are, which is pointless.

If you have the will, you can always end the race if you crash bad yourself, at least I do have it :)

Haha, a bit of a last lap tangle on the approach to La Source, going for third place (you know how it is!). In fact I "only" lost 2 wheels but it was pretty spectacular!

nice shots lazaro1717. I don't know if you are aware or not, but i see that you are using fraps to take screenshots.

There is an setting in the screenshots option of fraps called :

"include frame rate overlay on screenshots".

If you have this unticked, then you can take screenshots and still see the fps counter on screen, but the fps counter will not show up on your screenshots. :)

Ha Ha lazaro1717. I spent ten minutes the other night taking screenshots, but when i went back to look at them, i'd actually taken about 50 two second videos . . .! I was tired though, that's my excuse. . .
