    In the "Main Editor Menu" you should find "Toggle Post fx Menus". If "Toggle Post fx Menus" won't show up hdr is not enabled.

    If you can't find the Config.ini try to run the rFactor launcher as administrator (right click on the icon and select run as admin). Now you have write permission to all folders and the Config.ini should be stored inside the rFactor2 core folder (C:\program files(x86)\rFactor2).

    Not to keep thread jacking.. here is an rf2 screenshot!

    Here is what I see in the dev side.

    [IMG]

    No Post FX options and oddly only one car and track to choose from.. Did I break something really important?

    and here is the proof that the file IS altered, also it isn't in the VirtualStore folder. I make sure windows doesn't rip my stuff apart and I didn't install in programfiles.

    You'll find 5-6 config.ini files when searching rF2 installation folder. I wonder if there will be better file structure later...

    @ZeosPantera
    The config.ini inside the "rFactorData\UserData" folder is for game mode. Dev mode has a it's own set of files and they are completely independent from game mode. You find them all inside the "rFactorData\ModDev" folder except for the config.ini. Inside the ModDev folder you can work in the same way you know from rF1. To add a track, create a folder for the track inside "rFactor2Data\ModDev\Locations" (the name has to be like in game mode, check "rFactor2Data\Installed\Locations) and copy the mas-files from game mode into the new folder. To edit the files you can extract them by using mas2.exe but you have to create a folder structure and put the content of each mas-file in a different folder (see Joesville for reference).

    i just confirmed on my install that the config.ini in the main rfactor2 folder by changing the two values to 0 and launching, hdr menu disabled, and going back again and setting the values to 1 and relaunching and hdr menu enabled... i have no config.ini in rfactor2/moddev or moddev/usedata

    AH.. That is a horse of a different color. That has got it thank you. Now how the hell do I tell this side to use the locations folder with all my tracks/cars? Do I need to copy the file over physically?

    Basically what you need to do is copy the MAS files from original track locations, then extract the MAS file containing track handler files (scn, gdb, aiw, etc etc) and edit the .scn file and make it point to correct MAS files.

    No, I am not going into why this system is fail.
