Request for logs if paid content won't update

Hi Studio397 help desk support!
I have the BMW 330i M Sport , Vauxhall Astra, Honda Civic TypeR BTCC and the Porsche GT3 Cup 992 in my inventory but they are not installed in Rfactor2, even there are not the folders of the cars in the "Vehicles" folder. Can someone help me whit this bug/issue?

I paid for this items on Feb 26. Please help.

Go to the ingame menu and choose the CONTENT & SETTINGS tab, followed by the MANAGE CONTENT tab. Check each one, for cars that may not have a Green checkmark. If they have an orange checkmark AND YOU OWN THE CAR, un-install and the install again. Might have to restart rF2.

I have problem with last BTCC and GT3 update. It is not downloading by Steam even if I restart Steam. There was no problem last year with updates.


When I tried to delete BTCC cars manually from in-game content manager my game freezes and nothing happens.

My trace logs shows that paid content can't be uninstalled because of some dependences. It is rfmods from servers, I believe. I have no skinpack for BTCC. After I uninstalled rfmod that have BTCC cars Steam finally starts to download update for BTCC and GT3s. In past game were able to uninstall any paid content regardless of .rfmods blocking it.

Have you tried going into the content manager in-game and download them there?

Go there and you can search for the items, then install them.

ALSO look at the top of the menu screen and click on Pending Updates

Just bought a DLC which includes Daytona. It installs and then is stuck in pending update. I can uninstall, go to by workshop folder and then delete it which will then allow me to use content manager to reinstall. It then gets stuck in pending update again! And so the cycle repeats. Any help would be great. Please find attached files as requested.

Have you checked if it's installed in the in-game content manager?

Make a shortcut for Mod Manager.
This will tell you everything without need for steam or sim.

Assuming you online and/or download series contain rfmods:

Issue could be that you have a rfmod in packages which may have a earlier version of the BMW. You only needed to subscribe to something has the BMW this is why good idea to stay away from rfmods which purpose is for online events.
They can include private updates to content as well which may serve no purpose offline.

That version of the car can't be deleted till all rfmod use it are uninstalled.
You then uninstall the old version of car which leaves path free for update.
This normally happens automatically but can't because of rfmod.

Do all that in mod manager then click refresh all will be good and you will see new version.
OR you will start rF2 and it will say update at top

I mean if above is the case that is, may be another issue.

As always this information is for anyone looks at thread, I realise (Australian) many know these things already.

These people lately bitching on me, personal comments they get away with.
Can't understand anything etc. etc.
They are the problem they can't understand things they never knew.
I not the one has problems running rF2 or LMU.
So when I speak I not speaking to OP or anyone else, I speak to all.

If you can't understand above I suggest you give up sims and do gardening.

This MAY be the same thing I describe
Daytona has been updated.
If you have any rfmod includes a old version of Daytona you can't do anything.
I mean I have seen it with people I helped all the time, they simply forgot about clicking on a room in server which downloads a rfmod.
Then they might never actually join but just do to get some car or track whatever then forget about the rfmod, especially if they use "all cars and tracks" as you don't see rfmods.

Again I not saying is the issue but worth a shot, check mod manager for any errant rfmods.
