Drove 6 or 7 laps backward (in Spark F1 ; sorry can't tear myself away from this car). Observations: - Very unique and challenging backward! - Decreasing radius turn(s) + camber demands very precise car control/balance. Nice! - Moving cameras will need adjustment or may automatically adjust based on direction/AI path. - Twisty downhill VERY fun and challenging. - Appear to be many opportunities to pass both because layout and challenge/line choices/risk tradeoffs. - On one crest you get some serious air and better have the car balanced or you can slow down and trade safety for speed (another great risk tradeoff for some good racing). - On another crest the car gets very light but no air but you better be judicious with the accelerator. - The blind left turn after the long hill is deadly (AKA awesome). - All of the curbs seems to work fine.

Thanks for such encouraging words hexa. I would love to have more free time to do more things. Especially when I read people's appreciation. I have been brainstorming for several months about which could be my next project. My idea is to create something special and unique. Very likely it will be a natural track. I am glad to announce that the 3 remaining layouts are already done. I just smoothed the transitions after testing yesterday a preliminary version which was a bit too bumpy. I intend to maintain there some noticeable but controllable bumps. Now I am working in the 4 reverse layouts which will take some extra effort since several objects need to be replaced (grid, finish line, distance markers...) I will not change the terrain so the reverse layout will be more dangerous since the graveltraps are located wrt forward layouts. Take it as if it was an urban circuit in terms of going into the limit. The pit exit could also be difficult and drivers should yield to someone coming from the main straight. I need to redo all 8 fast paths for AI since I changed even the original one track limits to prevent AI from losing control at the entrance of the 3rd sector hairpin which happened a lot. I already fixed the undershadow problem that was reported and some other minor clip plane issues. I expect to release it pretty soon but I cannot put a date since I don't know how much time it will take me to create good AI for the 8 layouts. Some of them have big jumps full throttle that I am not sure if AI will dare to take flattish the gas pedal. I'll upload a video today to show the progress. I hope you like it. The TV cameras need to be better adjusted for the reverse layouts.

Please find attached version 0.997 which comprises the 8 layouts. There are two variants and all combinations include the reverse layout as well. Hopefully the shadow bug is fixed since I never perceived it. Please confirm. The AIW needs improving but I think it is better to enjoy it before it is fixed. LINK removed All the stupid bugs from v0.997 are fixed now. I was convinced I had already checked that all layouts worked correctly in previous private versions. That's thereason why I didn't check yesterday after fixing cameras and aligning grid. However it seems clear that either I didn't or that I messed up later. In any case, it is correct now.
