Real Head Motion for rf2 rebooted 1.0.3

I'm sorry it fails on driver's swap.
Thing is, I don't play rFactor2 anymore, well, I can still fix it once I'll have time ;)
But, I don't have time ATM, and like a said above :
I'm preparing to move to live/work at Singapore.
So don't expect new things from me until mid September.

I can not even imagine to drive rF2 without it and I have big problem with "shaking world" in GameStockCar. I´ve tried everything to eliminate crazy picture shaking there, I installed rF1 plugin and even try to do something with this one, but nothing helped. So, is there any chance to create something similar for GSCX to?

This is off-topic but in response to the issue with Game Stock Car Extreme as I had the same issues.
Here's what I did to make that title playable for me....
Again, this is for GSCE
Go to > SteamApps > common > Stock Car Extreme > GameData > Vehicles
Now chose the car and look for the CAM file, you will be editing the bold lines in the Cockpit cam.

LocalCam=COCKPIT
{
Fov=(50.000000, 50.000000)
Clear=TRUE
Color=(164, 218, 249)
ClipPlanes=(0.120000, 500.000000)
LODMultiplier=(10.00000)//1.0 is default but 10 has fixed pop up trees and loading issues for me
MipmapLODBias=(0.00000)
Size=(1.00000, 1.00000)
Center=(0.500000, 0.500000)
Flags1=(0)
Flags2=(0)
RadiusLimits=(0.00000, 0.00000)
OrientationRate=(010.000000, 010.000000, 010.000000) // 999.000 is default, I have used 010.00000 with good results
PositionOffset=(0.0, -0.0, 0.0) // for cockpit eyepoint, please change value in cockpit_info.ini file instead
OrientationOffset=(-0.03800, 0.00000, 0.00000)
Radius=(0.00000)
}

On topic, Seb/MagicFr, this is one of those plugin's that really make a huge difference and I am still appreciating all of your hard work.

I'm trying to get this plugin working and am not sure if its supposed to have a on-off toggle in the plugin section in the ui menu?
Also where are these options:

For both head/eye angle Pitch and Roll, that will be filtered, you can choose between 4 types

LockToCockpit : no filtering, the head will follow cockpit
LockToWorldHorizon : the Head angle is lock to world horizon, so if , for example, you set this type for RollFilter, the head will never roll in world coordinate, the head will stay straight
Inertia : Inertia filtering ( default ), Choose a filter Val between 0.0 and 1.0, It's my preferate choice. If you set to 0 it will be like LockToCockpit ( no filtering ) ,if you set to max 1.0 it will be like LockToWorldHorizon ( maximum filtering )
LinearRegression : another filtering, give different result. Val filter can be above 1.0

Taken from OP and have done everything as per installation .
Can anyone help?

Love this plugin but I can't use it as I mostly run endurance racing with driver swaps. Is there a chance you're willing to release the source code so others can keep working on it? Maybe a github repo to fork from?

Hello, has anybody got a link to download this amazing plugin?
The link in OP does not work and i can't find it anywhere on the interwebs :(

Hi,
I started driving again rFactor 2 , what a huge improvement since last timed I tried.
I play only in VR now. ( Pimax8K+ and G2 arrive today ).
I m quite surprised my plugin is still working.

I had to convert the website to a new one because Google stuff
The link in post #1 is still working tho'

I think it's time to work on a new version, something maybe closer to the one I did for AC.
I want people to be able to edit the values realtime with a simple U.I.

I will do this during my Christmas break starting mid December.

If somebody ( 1 only please ) , have a list of current issues that I could try to fix ( if I can ) ?

Well I am disapointed.
Actually my plugin worked without VR , but not with VR .. useless :(
And the stabilization High is way not enough, is there a way to have a REAL lock to horizon like AC ?

@magicfr The "look" controls don't function in VR. I have a camera smoothing plugin (from before the in-game option was there) which still offers better stability for those who want it, but no good for VR.

Thanks for the reply Lazza.
That's what I thought :(
That's a shame !!!
Assetto Corsa was smarter as the "Look" from the game was "additive" to the VR rotation, so RHM works with AC in VR.

Is there a thread somewhere to complain to have a REAL lock to horizon ? :D

¡Hola!

¡Muchas gracias!

¡Excelente complemento!

Hi!

I found this plugin. I was looking for a plugin to remove exaggerated vibrations on the track.

So I unzipped the rar file and put the dllx64 and xml files in the plugin folder in RF 2.

As soon as I went out on the track, I noticed that everything changed in the cockpit view. When the car leans into the corners, the movement of the cockpit in general. But I don't know how to configure it. I enter the pits, go to where the xml file is without leaving RF 2, but I don't know what I have to configure.
When I open the xml file, the code and some values appear. This image is in the sheet in this section.

I would like to know what I should configure and how to do it.

Thank you very much!

Great plugin!
