hey guys, Fews lines to present this track project First the track Established in 1960 Opened October 3, 1960, the Paul Armagnac Circuit of Nogaro was the first permanent circuit in France. the track near Nogaro in south-western France has hosted many notable events ever since. Current races hosted on the track include the FFSA GT championship as well as an annual FIA GT round. 14 turns The track has 14 turns (5 left and 9 right). The project history At the beginning it was simple convertion from Rfactor 1 version. But the road mesh was too low poly to be really interesting in Rfactor 2. So I decide to redo only the road, but at the end have redo many things , more works than expected, this track is not perfect, I'm sure you will find many default, but I have learn a lot between RF1 and RF2 technologies. I have started in 2006 modding hobby, which bring me on many project and now after 10 years of labours during freetime and sacrifice for my family , it's time for me to closed the book. In 2006, I want done the old charade track version, I have beginning it, postpone it, thinking than I need learn more and more about track technologies. Now, I will write the last chapter. I have so many wishes of cars ( Matra 670, Matra M120, New LMP3, Prototype CN, Michel Vaillant's car) and tracks ( charade 1972, Magny cours, Le mans, .. ) than I can't produce all. My Last chapter will be the 1972 charade track. Simply, because i leave at 15 kms ,and I estimate that I have enough datas now( drawing, pictures, books), to do it with accuracy, and for me it was the initial project ten year before. Good news, you started from scratch or is it the adaptation of the rF1 one you done? (because some turn in rF1 version was with some improvement to do).
No, it's more than a sample conversion from RF1. Following real pro driver's feedback, I want, at the beginning, only correct two curves. But at the end I have redo all the track. Redo all, add the 15 m missing, change the curbes ,elevation, banking, etc... I redo it with more poly also, to be in line with RF2 requierement. As you can see below, the rumbles are all in 3D also. but it's a pity If I can't take real picture to do the texture for this. I have redo also the New pit , wall, redo many textures, at the end It's like a new scratch track.
