Been 2 days since I posted in the thread and there's always the ignore option. If you don't like my tongue in cheek harbinger of doom ramblings on the subject which were all finished, use it.

What are you contributing apart from telling me to be quiet?

They found it themselves and fixed it. There is no privacy issue as far as I can see.

also here.... wait or not to wait? this is the problem. What do you suggest? Wait?
    edit:
Though non-developers can buy one of the new dev kits, Iribe stresses that the consumer version will be much better. He wouldn't go into specifics, but according to Iribe, every part of the experience is improved: the screen, the tracking, the design. Oculus does have internal prototypes of that version, and Iribe tells me that of the few hundred people who have tried one—including some of his more skeptical friends—not one has left with doubts about it.

Iribe also mentioned that Oculus will have a very large presence at E3—a booth not quite as big as Microsoft or Sony's, but big enough to put Oculus in the same league—and that, I think, would be a sensible time to make a release date announcement.

    so I'll wait :D

Excited they're planning a big E3 presence. I'm cautiously optimistic they're gonna hit 1440p OLED with 90 - 120 hz. If they can somehow pull it off by Christmas, I'll consider cancelling my DK2 order.

I was one of the first Kickstarter backers (got in on the DIY kit for 275), but cancelled because I knew it would be too rough to use. Regretted that after the stupid prices it was selling for on ebay.

DK2 is more advanced technically (75hz low persistence pulsing) than anything the consoles are going to see this generation. So it's still going to be pretty good. And if I can get a years use out of it, I'll be happy. If CV 1 gets a 2014 release date at E3, I'll be mildly tempted to cancel my order.

Oh, I almost forgot why I re-entered this thread. What's the latest rf2 news? I know iracing and AC are heavily on board, can we ever expect ISI to dive all in? I mean with official support.

+1000. An official reply to this question would be highly appreciated. As long as they keep in secret the answer there will be people developing external plugins or software to use it which could be useless if official support was already there. It would be interesting to know if ISI has a DK1 and/or has ordered DK2. If they didn't I would be highly disappointed by their lack of vision and market perspective. The VR boom is there and whoever gets late into it will have a severe disadvantage.
