When racing on the Nordschleife, you have to do a long full lap first. Would like the short version to start a lap where the time is taken.

Honestly, 10 years of tinkering with rFactor 2 is enough, it's time for the vast majority of features to be supported directly by the software. For example the improvement of the weather system of rF2 must be done directly in the software, not in a plugin. We are no longer in rF2 2012, but rF2 2023. It is time. That doesn't take away that your initiative was excellent.
I also hope that one Day S397 will implement the Use of the Shortcut to start the Timing, especially because it gets used in real Life Races already.
The xObjects are perhaps among the oldest things in rFactor. Maybe one day we get some additional ones to support this sort of thing
