I had the same problem before, but i can fix it. You need to check the vertex color and illumination. Sometimes switch from white to black. I don't know why, but when i changed both to white solved my problem.
Hmmm, I'm sure i've seen that very same thing, not sure how I fixed it, maybe it was naming my main carbody material to 'WCCARBODY' in max befoe export
Problem fixed. It was the vertex colour/illumination thing. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It would have taken me an age to find It seems there is a problem with Max2010 and vertex colours. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=14043553&linkID=9241177 Cheers
Yes it's the 72 Torino. The mod is MoparBob's "Stockcar Resurrection". http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.148886775125929.28760.100000138230766&l=6329e1eea8 I've done a bit of modelling for it. It's a bit stop start but I'm using the Torino to learn RF2. Whether it develops into a full blown mod is yet to be seen.
OK, back to poor reflections in devmode issue. I downloaded Putnam Park, I followed the install instructions and installed this map, I then followed further instructions to install in dev mode, extracting the mas files to verious directories, but no Putnam park showing in dev mode?
.SCN file is in Putnam_Long MAS file. edit the search paths to match your folder structure and it will work in dev mode.
SearchPath=. SearchPath=Putnam SearchPath=Putnam\Putnam_Long SearchPath=Putnam\PutnamMesh SearchPath=Putnam\PutnamTextures These paths were already there in the .scn file Still nothing showing in devmode My directories are the same as in the .scn file
Well it should be showing up. Once I have extracted all .MAS files to their directories all I have had to do is check the .scn search paths and it works in dev mode.
