I starting playing this wonderful sim a few weeks ago and I noticed a issue.

If I start any race in rain (practice, race or qualify) I see no rain.
In the setup, I have the weather set to "scripted" and "overcast with rain", I have time at 5x.

I can hear the rain but it is nowhere to be seen. There are also no splash effects behind the car.
    Can someone help me?

    IMO
Reduce anti aliasing to lv 2 or 4
Both reflections either off or low
Circuit detail High, but denpending on mod tracks it will make no difference I guess
    Shadow blur off
    Shadows Medium
That's how I run here and I see the rain drops, and I have... had a card weaker than yours, was an HD7850 1gb, I used to run player and oponent detail on high tho

Yeah try reducing anti-aliasing, it could be the one. High AA levels can cause transparency issues on some track objects as well.

With the windscreen on some cars, I found you can not see the rain falling looking through it. You can hear the rain but not see it. Switching to a outside view you can see it.
    (same with skid marks)
