This Studio 397 mod is in the Workshop but it's not listed and can't be searched for. Here's the page: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1238534608 Why is that? Are there any more mods in the same situation?
I guess the whole Steam Search is bugged, as i did notice it too. In this Case for Example, if you search for "nissan", you also get FVR V8Supercars 2018, [Virtua_LM] Le Mans 1991-1996, Lexus SC430 GT500 2013 and some more Results without the Term nissan. And even if you search exactly for Nissan 370Z 2012, you get 2 Sites of Results, but not the Nissan 370Z 2012. EDIT I just remembered: as the Uploader of Content, you can make it visible or not or only for your Friends...., by using specific Tags. Maybe the Nissan is tagged as "hidden".
Yeah, I don't think it's working correctly unfortunately. No clue why. S397 page has a selection of the content here, but it's also surprisingly not searchable. This was one of the reasons I created this page with a list of all S397 content included. It's searchable, and has additional information like when was the package launched, updated, etc. If you click on a line with a specific car/track, you'll go to the respective Steam's workshop webpage. I've mentioned this in several threads already, and let me know if you had seen it before, but I've done that because I do think it's quite useful and exactly what you seem to be looking for. Hope it helps Regards
That's because it searches mod descriptions too. Thanks for confirmation. Interesting, I didn't know any of those pages. It's not what I was expecting but it's useful. I'll save the links. Thanks! In this case I had the mod already installed but couldn't find where I installed from since it didn't appear in the Workshop. Google directed me to the Workshop page. I'm intrigued as to why some mods could be hidden, specially this one that came with the base game. Maybe it's a licensing issue. And it doesn't appear in the S397 page neither. Why are some mods listed in your Fidgrove page not from Studio 397?
That table actually shows all the content Fidgrove's data analysis platform supports, which includes not only all S397 content, but also other licensed content that we added pretty much by request. Anyway, I believe the page is useful for everyone in the community, independently of using our platform or not, and that's why we're making it available to all. Shameless plug: Fidgrove is a project I've created, and our team is building a platform to make it trivial to leverage data to improve driving performance and optimize setups. I believe we'll bring a different approach and innovations to the space. We're still in the beginning of the long journey we have planed, but we've opened access to it recently, and we'll launch a cool run charts feature in the next few days. If you're curious, check here and here to know more. Happy to have you onboard using it and also join a community in the platform, for a friendly track records competition. Feedback is always welcome. All current features are free. BTW, in the page I shared with tabular content info, paid content always shows up as S397 developed content for Steam technicalities (e.g., Imola Track was developed by Reiza).
