I miss posting vids around here so I'm going to scratch the itch. A buddy of mine has been showing me this top fuel stuff. These guys are insane. These things go 250+mph.
I don't really get drag racing... 3 minutes of idling for 4 seconds of go-fast. And if it's 3 seconds of go-fast, then you're happier.
I visit a drag racing event all year. It's called the nitrolympx. It's on the hockenheim ring in Germany and the biggest drag racing event outside of America. The first time I saw such a top fuel dragster was.....woah. 8000 HP and that sound... Unbelievable. The nitro burning in your eyes....the acceleration...It's really worth to watch.

Top Fuel dragsters reach speeds of 330 miles per hour (530 km/h) and finishing the 1,000 foot (300 m) runs in 3.7 seconds.
