I saw 2 guys doing 1 38 after A LOT of work on that with setup that certainly can't handle a 100% race distance.
I can do 1 39 high with a setup that allow me to do 15 laps with mediums.
    I wait to see the 1 37.

So If you take all in count, that's pretty close to the reality.

After a look at the video Adrian post here, we can see how clean is his drive.
And how good is his car.

Even if it is 3 sec's, take all into account what Capeta said and add to this:

From Q1 to Q3 you improve for more than a second.
The 1.37 is driven on a mighty rubberd in track i guess.
And most importantly the balls play a big role with this car I think.

38s! I was happy with my 42s. Need to try some runs with very low fuel, might get me into the 40s...

Having a great time learning to pilot this machine btw , it is as rewarding as it is humbling.

Much gratitude to Marussia for working with ISI to provide the community and F1 fans with a realistic experience into the sport.

Many thanks to ISI for continuing to refine and add great content to rF2, and especially for keeping it a piece of software we can actually own and play offline!

Nice video indeed Adrian, thanks for posting.

I was never really a fan of Sepang before tbh but this car has made me revisit the track and I`m am really enjoying it now, much more than I ever did before... if ISI give the car and Sepang a little touch up here and there it`s going to be an amazing combo imo.

Oh yeh Adrian... we need a comparison lap now done by your good self with your three screens...

    :p

    Nobody reacted to this ;)

So this is expected and normal, or this is a problem you confirm?

Saying that, I'm not the Guardian of the True and the Absolut Realism myself, just wondering for my personal knowledge as I followed the conversation.

Someone tried wet weather tyres on wet tarmac ?
I did and get a 2:10:XX this is over 25 sec. above dry condition and med. tyres. Even with dry setup this is way off to be realistic.
A.I. Pilots are about 13 sec. slower which seens to be much more within the scope.
Extreme slippery, feel's like driving on ice or snow.

I understand there is no life-timing indicator like in FW31 from Iracing, because ISI have to implement additional code for it.
But why no speed indicator in the steering wheel, as in the real one?

EDIT: Track is Sepang of course. :)

I'm pretty sure wet would be more than 13 seconds slower

With a bit of luck, we get the solution on the upcoming weekend.

Is that proper implementation? I was under the impression it didn't work that way in real life, but actually it sounds like it should be like it is, for safety.

Um, which tires are people on, which tires were they on in real life? How much rubber was down? How much had it rained the day before? How well did they get the car setup that weekend? How much traffic was there (infront or trying to pass them) on their laps? :)

Edit: And someone actually brought up the best point. The track improves a lot between the sessions. Fastest times are the last second of the last session. :) Marussia never got close to that session.
