Can't wait for the 'expert' analysis from content creators. People start and leave jobs all the time for all sorts of reasons - many personal. I don't know if we really need a deep dive here.
Supposing is not a late April fool, I wish to thank you for all Studio 397 achieved on RF2. Wish you good luck on your future projects, and thank you again. RF2 seems to be finally going full steam in the right direction with those latest releases, I think we all hope this is just the start of a new exciting phase for everyone.
You are right . Even the founder of Kunos Stefano Casillo has left the company few months ago…. So it’s normal. Good luck for him
Not great news to me, but I hope it is going to be great new chapter for Marcel. Certainly not the best timing with propaganda campaign in background. Marcel was key person to me, someone I have lots of trust. Lets hope everything is going to be good for everybody. Time will show. But future of rF2 to me suddenly became less clear. I think it is important to have a proper leader. Who became such person after Stefano left Kunos ? Who will be such person in rF2 now after Marcel ?
Thanks for picking up rF2 and make it a better, more refined simulation! All the best @Marcel Offermans, i hope you're leaving to give us some more simulations in the future Cheers!
its a pity, thanks for your relaxing and interesting monthly reports and your enhancements to rFactor2 Have a good sport
I think that's very disappointing news @Marcel Offermans - well that's an understatement at best. I hope you will still be able to be involved in the forums... And that your future plans work out well for you.
He's leaving the sinking ship. MSG bad and rf2 dead lol /s Thanks for the good times Marcel and good luck with whatever comes next
Just when rf2 was picking its pace....sad news indeed. Best wished for the future though, thank you Marcel.
@Marcel Offermans - thank you for your leadership & integrity in moving the heavy weight of rF2 into the light of day. We appreciate all your efforts and no doubt, many sleepless nights. May your future be healthy, happy and full of light.
With tons of Good news about upcoming lots and great content plus promising rich of improvements upcoming new build, we get these news. I guess this is called balance. Additionally I guess this means that there might not be official groupC cars, as Marcel once shared that he would love those cars. But neither any of pre-WW2 cars made it to Assetto Corsa, and Stefano has been saying that he is very fascinated about those cars. Strange world, isn't it, you are in such position and still can't "just do" simple thing.
Sad but..that's life! good luck with Marcel's future projects! and thank you for all those years of loyal service on rf2!
