Very nice! Thanks Mario. i have a problem with trackmap. I have extrakt AIW and GDB. No trackview in trackmap
Good conversion Mario! Are you planning on increasing the polygons on the circuit at all? There are a few corners where to bumps look a little blocky and sharp.
Thanks for this. just as i was going up the mountain i saw i giant blob moving along at the side of the track, couldn't get a screenshot but i am thinking it was a low flying hotair balloon !
Yeh I too have noticed the giant balloons disappearing into the side of a hill now and then... I`m sure it`ll get fixed up.
I had the balloon coming through the road in the mountains. And when driving the Corvette over the cobblestones in the town it looked like it was a sandstorm going on in the cockpit... A little typo on the loading screen: Its "temporary road circuit". Otherwise it is a good start, lots of options to improve but already a great reminiscence to the glory days of Lienz in rF1... Good job so far, Mario and thank you!
@evphelps: You are absolutely right. Not a good way to correct typos when introducing one myself. My bad...
Thanks for sharing early It looks strange driving thru the village, I guess it will look better when you enable shadowcasters, because right now the road and all sides of buildings, etc, are lit up. I'm only mentioning this because I didn't see it in your ToDo list. Looking forward to the finished version.
Awesome track Mario! You contribute very much to the RF2 community. Thank you for that! One request / critique tho: The track surface could use some more polygons. I think double the poly count on the track surface should be no problem - ethone says RF2 can cope with that easily. With double the polygon count, the track surface would be much more enjoyable to drive...it would have much more flow to it! Because now there are many very hard edges in the surface, which result in big FFB jolts and in unbalancing the car. This makes it hard to go to the very limits on this track. But otherwise, i really love this track mario!!
I agree with the poly count. I love the different grip levels when going from the tarmac to the dusty cobble stones. Great track for the 60s F2 car.
Fantastic job, Mario! One thing I noticed is that running at night, both my car's and the AI's headlights don't stay on. They flash on and off randomly.
