Will there be footage of Verstappen driving in one of the rigs?
I'd love to hear his opinion!
Please make those radio towers at Zandvoort have those little red lights at night.
When the May update comes out
If because in dx11 goes of pity, to see if it really improves the optimization
After today's updates
Historics gave strange jumpy suspension arms
Are the updates applied automatically or do you have to update yourself, if so where? Also is it just the dx11 that gets updated, or dx9 to?
Think steam does it
But think if it's a dx11 version
Then delete the dx9 version also unsubscribe & subscribe to the new dx11
Think I'm right
I would update to dx11, but I hear that some plugins (like the Tv plugin) won't work.
No idea , I don't use any plug-ins
You are right about that.
Didn't you ask about trackmap plugin in another thread? Its unavailability is due to the same problem...
Documentation regarding painting on the screen in DX11 is to be released yet.
Afterwards plugin modders would need to rewrite their plugins.
However, it is expected that the upcoming new UI fills many of the gaps that plugins were covering.
I don't think we have seen any teaser regarding the racing hud itself. Have we @Marcel Offermans?
I hope the trackmap just die. I would prefer an official ingame solution. It's pretty much standard in any racing game now.
Not targeted directly at those above, but there seems to be a combination of "I don't want third party plugins, I want it to be part of the game" soon to be followed by "Why isn't it part of the game yet?"
There was a time the community could add stuff (you know, that thing rFactor was based on) and it was welcomed, not shunned.
I'm with Lazza. Plug-ins are great for the game, I personally only use one which is to give me a HUD unit on the tablet, all the rest for me are just to make it more arcade like the trackmap one.
But that's the thing about plug-ins, what I like someone else doesn't. You just keep what you want and don't install the others.
Just do slower laps & get to know track at first
Never had interest in maps on screen
@Adrianstealth From what I've seen not many people using the trackmap plugin are using the map, certainly while on track (maybe when deciding when to jump into the car and exit the pits, at the monitor).
I certainly hope not.
I don' have a problem having to get used to a new UI but it offers a LOT more than just timing and fuel consumption information.
I for example make great use of the WGL component (wheels available grip), especially during braking and I'd hate to give that one up.
I usually drive without everything and stay with what I have in the cockpit. Anything else distracts me to much. After a session I check all the info and adjust my setup or my driving style. I understand that people that drive in leagues are worried that they don't use the car to its full potential and therefore use as much info-screens as possible. (although it looks very funny I have to say)
If we can have a team with realtime telemetry while driving + radio communications, i'm sure we'll not need some fundamental info on screen anymore
I'm unsure why do you think this cannot be in the game by default.
