Now, it's just getting weird. ISI Track Team @ISITrackTeam 50m When game art becomes ... well, game ART !
I'd say not a chance. It's obvious they have other things at hand. With oval content being released, tire physics will probably become top priority. For example - tire pressure has virtually no influence on the car. It's one of the most basic aspects of vehicle simulation and it becomes even more important on ovals, so it simply has to come first. To be honest, I don't know how could this issue survive that long, but now with oval arriving it simply has to be dealt with.
Could you tell me what the track team has to do with tyre physics..? Sendt fra min LG-E400 med Tapatalk2
lol Depends on the car. The skip barber for instance it makes a big difference as far as managing tire temps. I'm not even sure what this whole contact patch thing is about actually. ISI hasn't been too specific on it. I use rF2 every week btw so I have a decent amount of experience with about half of the ISI cars.
I was referring to dirt racing support in rF2. So I wouldn't expect any dirt content released anytime soon. On ovals you put higher pressure on outside tires, which increases their radius therefore helping car turn better. This doesn't work at all with Dallara.
I see what happens with you. Wait how it will be another year further, maybe you wan't eat/go to bed anymore and will rest in front of your desk, as we did years ago when we where hooked from race sim's those days, but my recommendation to you is a cozy sitting, and your back will thank you
"One of the cool things with that track during night races is the fairgrounds beside the track, the lighting is very pretty, and slightly psychedelic. " Oh yeah..?
Looks like there's maybe a new shader coming where you can use multi maps for blending purposes? (4 channels per texture) or vertex color blending Fun
Quad was put out so that people in the community who had been asking to do it themselves, could do it themselves. It's not near the top our schedule anytime soon.
Yes, from reading the forum: Next Track: SOme sort of ISI version of Mountain Peak Next Car: Wether Shelby Cobra or some Stock car Next core update: TrackIR 64bit, Tyre contact patch and updates to drive train (which could be better simulated clutch) Next Car update: Indy cars - more accurate data shoud lead to more accurate handling
rFactor2 @rFactor2 23m "Another little something we've been working on (and no, you cannot fly the plane)."
