Thanks very much for this track: very enjoyable with historic cars, especially; but there is an issue for me : the AIs are too slow, even in setting the AI to 120%, I'm still faster than they!!...and I'm the slowest driver in the world!...there is a problem. I don't listen Jack Arute voice? an install mistake ? Thx again for the good work!
Same here for me regarding the voice, also i am getting very low frps.ie 19 to 25,all other tracks around 50 to 60. fun to max out the f2 around here
Yes indeed, it needs a new asphalt detail map. Maybe the track is too heavy. I worked a lot to optimize things and use the least amount of materials possible... I can't really tell myself, my old computer is slow on every track I just couldn't do a good AIW line because the rTrainer is so slow, it was impossible to maintain a perfect line So they are slowing down too much in the corners. Did you install the component ? BTW, you can only hear him in one cam (trackside group 3) in the pitlane.
"one cam (trackside group 3) in the pitlane" I don't understand very well (si tu peux me le dire en français...)
Yeah my English is quite... random. En gros, la voix s'entend lorsqu'on est sur la caméra au bout des stands et qu'on voit le faux Jack Arute.
Nicely done jp. My biggest issue has nothing to do with the track but with build 118. Ever since I updated to it the tracks have wet patches everywhere. Once this is corrected I look forward to letting it out on this track.
You need to have a practice, qualify and race. Then in session settings : real road settings, for the practice set Green or track preset (or something), for the qualify and race "naturally progressing"
I have no Jack Arute sound file. Downloaded from Drivingitalia net. and there is only the track file. So I cant install the rfmod. Had some laps offline in different cars. Nice. But as mentioned the Ais are way to slow.
There is a tiny bit of lag at pits All "big" ovals lagged on the main straight around pits F1-2002, F1C, GTR, GTL etc....... I dont know how much fps it drops from normal rates but it does hit mid 50s when pitting out. Once on track it does not move off 60...... ( 24 Ai np ) I have at best middling tower , 2500K-GTX570 Track is very laggy adding Ai takes 3 times as long as others. The BIG problem with this track is I cant ALT-TAB at all ? Anything over 3/4 drivers or a heap of Ai it freezes on minimizing. Never had this problem any shape or form other tracks. Can't stay in session all day lol ?
If you're on the maximum level of details, then lower it to high. Some "useless" details will disappear such as the pitboxes.
Ah good idea thanks i will do that in future for Indy ........doh p What tracks is maximum detail useless I never actually noticed ? mmmm But why is pitbox useless mate. ? Has anyone actually been testing these addons with pits online ? I thought most gave up with Spa and build45 ie: any more then few cars you got shared boxes. But recently I forced drivers to test Nords 6 of us test pitted and we all have diff boxes. If you try 6-8 at ISI tracks you get shared boxes, cars getting launched into air in pits 1/2 sharing a box. I never had that happen at any add on yet. ? So if you test a addon and you dont share boxes why not use them and start training rookies to use limiter and pitstops. We will eventually have to use them, I not interested in doing sprints all my life. In fact if anyone wants to do a 100 lap indy with pitstops I in the mood.
Aye, I used the wrong word. The pit details (such as team tents, crew animations...) will disappear in the "high" level of details. It's good for screenshots, or nice to have your own pit crews when you pit, but that's it. As in real life, boxes aren't shared. You shouldn't have a problem, unless you try to do a race with more than 44 cars. I forgot to upload the template if you want to paint your pit tents https://rapidshare.com/files/2381646923/pit_stuff_indy.rar It should work by saving the dds as nameOfTheCar_pitbox.dds (it works like that in rFactor) Sound file : https://rapidshare.com/files/380338522/Jack_Arute.rfcmp
