One of the main problems with the rF2 graphics engine, IMO, is its shadow system. Indeed, in 100% full graphics setting, what annoys me most is this kind of "visual bug" that have some shadows (related to LODs ??). The shadows are too much aliased, but I found an ultra-efficient solution using the AA sparse grid X2. I have recently seen the really great graphics quality of Monaco E GP, but the many shadows, especially those of barriers and fences, are really very ugly.... I wish to have some news about the improvement of the system of shadows because apparently it's something that has already been or will be planned. ------------------------------------------------- @Marcel Offermans , 2 nov 2017, forum : "Our shadow system is quite old and there have been a lot of advances in technology that we could and should apply to improve both the overall look and the performance of the shadows. While we did not explicitly mention it in the roadmap, this is definitely on our radar and quite high on the list of priorities in terms of graphics."
