I don't know if you are trolling or you are saying It for sure... Are you hearing how much gas is he using? where is he braking? Pay attention in the moments he push in corners how he has to correct, or how he has to correct when he brakes more agressively (and even in that moments he is driving really in "safe mode" trying to not to slide). I tested today in Brianza and It's possible to push little more before begining to slide. You only have to balance the car, and be smooth like the guy in that video. Brianza is not the better example, but two corners are in 2nd gear, I will try better in other track tomorrow!
How far did you watch? If you start at 3:30 that's about what it looked like earlier when I was racing it online at LRP and winning. Check out his correction around 4:00 in the kink. As for overall grip, who knows. You'd have to look at corner speeds and stuff, and it changes so much in rF2 with different track conditions. 1G isn't much though. Most decent road cars can achieve 1G now, and even the Skippy is in excess of that.
I really don't care about these cars, so who cares! bring to me the nexT GT car or BTCC car soon and I will be happy!
It's hard to even read this post with a straight face XD Anyway ISI, I really dont care about cars, so who cares! Bring me motorbikes soon and I will be happy!
GTClub_wajdi: If you don´t care than shut the f/%/ §=!! By the way: In this vid he is not overdriving the car permanently like YOU do! Same old story....so tired of it! (sorry Tim)
Calm down guy! just enjoy the sim as I'm doing... This is what happens when you push a little more, going fast but not overdriving the car: This guy is going fast, and despite of he is sliding I'm sure he is far from pushing hard the gas pedal in some slides (depends on the corner). If you push more, the car will slide more, simple...
I've done a number of laps on Spa. These are some fun cars. Don't know how it doesn't surpass the BT20 as my favorite rf2 car. Can't over drive them. But at least they're fairly easy to correct with a quick reaction. Only thing I don't like is how I suddenly quit to desktop twice. Wasn't a complete crash, because if I clicked on the rfactor 2 logo in my taskbar, I resumed immediately from where I left. You don't exactly wanna be in a fast turn when you resume activities. Did a fresh install of Windows 7 last week. And a clean install of rF2. Maybe it's the Nvidia drivers I'm using now.
Yeah! It´s simple. But some people just don´t understad, that´s what make me rage. Again: I don´t want to bring this forum to a lower level, please understand. It´s just that a few people don´t understand car-physics and give comments like that from above. I mostly drive this old, difficult cars in rFactor and it´s sooooo much fun (if you are dry)! Where I come from the language is clear and honest. That shouldn´t be a sin. Greets Pete
No, you should just learn to respect the opinion of the others mate! If you like this cars that doesn't mean that everyone has to like it !
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Incredible stuff! Nuerburgring GP and now this? Pinch me! Just ran an AI race with 60s F1 against Howstons. Sick! Videos forthcoming!
These cars are great. I love the way they handle. I'm a little bit underwhelmed with some of the textures though. Bad line up of stripes, jaggies along the sides of them, broken patterns. Its especially noticeable on the "Martini" liveried one. Real shame as that is one of my favourite schemes from racing. Also why do none of them have the obvious sponsorship logo's?.
