that was a great vid, good selection. But from my viewing it seemed he was doing a lot to keep it pointed straight. Very active on the wheel. So cant really agree with your interpretation-sorry.
It's hard to see, but I think he's power shifting up without the clutch and double clutching for downshifts. It happens to fast that it almost looks like a twitch with his left leg.
Porsche 935K3 I think this might be the exact car in the video, not positive. Right click - view image to see full res. EDIT: Currently for sale, $750k - http://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/1118-Porsche-935/80-3.2%20Liter%20Twin%20Turbocharged%20Flat%206-Cylinder plenty of pictures
Still ? I noticed that with the G27 and the first release of the cars and i don't try it again with my T500RS and current build. The G4 car is set to 612° by standard but the visual steering isn't in sync and while i was driving without the visual steering but feel some uncomfortable, i checked the setup of steering and realise asynchron behaviour and just setting the lock manually to something around ~490° for the car, sync it.
Just for clarification but am I right in saying that these cars are near impossible to drive lol? I just can't keep it in a straight line! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
Thanks ISI, loving this car. I have started with the first and slowest and plan to "evolve" my way through the iterations. Quite amazing to think that the early G4 didnt even have a roll bar! Scary stuff. Now I have been working on setup and think I might need to understand the implications of cross ply tyres vs radial play tyres as far as pressures and temperatures are concerned. can anyone help me? EG Does the structure of the tyre influence what we should look for in these criteria? EG is sidewall flex bad for contact patch size? (so higher pressure than radial needed). I'm noticing that 'Im getting more temp on the middle of the tyre than a radial which when setup will run hotter on the inside. Thanks in advance edit found some real world info, does it apply here? https://rsracing.com/tech-tire.htm
Interesting. Thanks for the feedback. I went lower and lower with pressures as with springs/ shocks/ arbs but am now going back up a little on pressure with measurable gains. The feel gets very mushy with very low psi and a bit unpredictable maybe there is more terminal grip but a little more psi seems to give a very solid- progressive feel. Also fronts are getting more heat to inside edges. Anyway its fun. I ran a 1 hour race in a G6 with AI (some in G4). 2 safety cars and 3 ai ended up in the grand stands!! I better get on top of those wisdom files I suppose. Cheers
It's the same with the EVE and Spark F1 cars... everyone in our league is running lowest possible tire pressure afaik...
