Yes i am using spybot S&D. My dedicated is working fine but it seems that kro388th has windows firewall which is blocking hes dedicated server.
I just wanted to clarify that 007guard is not your host name...![]()
I did a test with PFPortChecker and you are correct both thoes are not open .. ??49783 and 49784 are not open in kro388th`s router or firewall.
Ok ! thank you for the help !Sorry, I should of made it clear. You have not setup port forwarding properly on your router. That's why I need to find my netgear router, to show you what's wrong. Please be patient, I should have something to show you on Monday.

I spoke too soon ... doing the loopback workaround lets me connect to my own server, but apparently, nobody else can even see it.Thanx a lot, after a long battle with my rouer's and firewall's rules, finally this worked for me.
Cheers!

Thanks for all your help !Hello,
Sorry for not replying sooner, I've been looking for my old router, but have a feeling I've given it to someone, so no screenshots or video instructions as I wanted.
I've edited your original picture. If you look at the port numbers carefully, they should of looked like this in the picture. The external ports should be mirrored to the internal ports. so when you edit the services they should be something like this.
RF2
External Start Port 54297
External End Port 54297
UDP+TCP
Internal Start Port 54297
Internal End Port 54297
RF2 steam
External Start Port 54298
External End Port 54299
UDP
Internal Start Port 54298
Internal End Port 54299
RF2HTTP
External Start Port 64297
External End Port 64297
TCP
Internal Start Port 64297
Internal End Port 64297
You also need to assign a static IP on your desktop pc. I don't know what version of Windows, so can't give instructions
Yes ..Can you open Command Prompt by either selecting in from the programs menu, or typing CMD in the search bar.
Once Command Prompt is open, type in IPCONFIG and press enter.
From the results, can you tell me if the IPv4 Address is 192.168.1.8

Yes I thought this could be an issue so I went and tested and some of the ports are not open using PFPortChecker so I made some rules , but some how I think these ports are still not open .. Im not skilled in this network stuff Im a drummer ! lol Inbound rules is all I messed with ...>@kro388th are you now 100% sure that you Windows firewall is not blocking dedicated server. If you are not check your Windows firewall first and open all ports rFactor2 and dedicated server are using. It is not vise to mess with your router before.
