Help with ignition/starter sound ?

I recently found a pretty nice Capri on facebook that i would like to use along with a BMW 320 but the Capri constantly keeps making the starter noise even when i turn the ignition off ?? It doesnt do this in the Ai cars , only mine .
Can anyone help me to just eliminate the starter noise altogether or if you know of a way to stop it from trying to start even when its running .

 

In the sfx file of the capri, check if the line for the starter is
VS_INSIDE_ENGINE_STARTER=
if, yes, change it into
VS_INSIDE_ENGINE_STARTING=

and do the same for the outside.

 

What do i use to open the sfx file?

 

Most files in rF open with a text editor (notepad).

 

notepad will do.

 

I cant even find any files i can open. If i go into installed /vehicles /capri i get MAS files? How do i open them to find sfx file?
The Mod came in a RFCMP file .

 

mas utility icon on launcher with the number 2 on it.. Will open if not encrypted

 

Great, i managed to extract it to another location and edited it but now how to get it back from extraction?

 

You need to make another mas file. Or replace the files within the mas file. Than package it up again for it to work.

 

Well stuff me this is far to complex! In other titles the files are just there to be edited, credit to all thoses who go through all this crap to create the awesome Mods we have.
I have no idea how to repackaged or make MAS files.
Can i just edit it after extracting then just drag and drop it back in? Because I've made the changes.

 

If you post a download link for the capri that you have, i can offer to create a small update rfcmp (if updates still work in steam) for it, that solves the problem.

Just want to add,
VS_INSIDE_ENGINE_STARTER is used for the Ingnition and VS_INSIDE_ENGINE_STARTING for starting sound of the engine. Blending could be fine tuned with the parameter StarterTiming from the engine file.

Is that where it came from , Its better than not having one in the game ?? Maybe ?
I really wish i had the skill and know how to be able to do anything like this but this is as good as i can find and i couldnt do any better or even try to fix it ,
