G29 Rotation Problem.
Don't dismiss this, it works. You can always go back to your original setup.
This work around was found by accident. I was looking for away to improve the feel of my G29 wheel. This definitely works for the rotation problem, I tried a lot of cars and its worked every time and it also improves the feel of the G29.
Its simple to do but takes a bit of time. So here goes.
1 Go to the Logitech Gaming Software.
2 Set sensitivity to 100%
3 Enable centering spring force, 35%.
4 Go to the controller settings screen.
5 Click load.
6 Scroll along to Fanatec CSW V2-5
7 Accept.
8 Click STEER LEFT.
9 Turn WHEEL all the way to the left up to the stop.
10 Click STEER RIGHT.
11 Turn WHEEL all the way to the right up to the stop.
12 Click on THROTTLE, BRAKE and CLUTCH.
13 Depress each pedal fully.
14 Click SHIFT UP and DOWN.
15 Operate each paddle.
The buttons on the wheel need to be remapped to your own preferences.
Click on the function and depress the button that you want for that function.
When complete save.
Once setup there is no need to use alt-tab any more to get to Logitech software.
Hope you G29 users find this of use. I been using this for about 11/2 months now with no problems. The improvement in the feel of the wheel is not huge but is definitely noticeable. I would not go back.
Good luck to all.
