First of all thank you to Dany and Bryan for setting this up, a great night of racing and a lot of fun. I think race 2 was the best for me with a great battle with Marcel at the start of the race and with Mike at the end. There was great respectful driving from all involved which made the whole evening so enjoyable, thanks to everyone for that. Even race 3 (which I didn't run due to a bug) was enjoyable to watch as a spectator. I would encourage anyone else to join the Teamspeak server as that definitely added to the experience for me. I look forward to the next one and many more that I hope will follow. Cheers Andy
Great news guys we was already thinking of F3 @ Monaco and I guess now would be a good time to test the water how many of you guys think that might be good fun? and thanks guys again for showing that we still have the racing spirit here.
I beleive I know Monaco inside out (Ive crashed in ALL of its turns and yes, water tastes nice in the harbour) but I believed till recently it was mainly for shopping (I had one of my best cappucinos at the cafe in casino square once). My opinion of it has changed a lot past week, so Im in if you choose to. (no place for pitstops tho lol)
just dont make it with accelarated time like that other server did where you end up driving in pitch dark lol.
Hi dany, thnx for kind words your setup was one of the best Ive used although as I realised, the best combination for me for best control is : Default spark with 65/35 braking bias, which I recomend for all rookies like me out there! (maybe when I get older?) Regards, nikos
I think our next race will be held on Sunday the 27th may race starts at 20:00 BST(British Summer Time) which is GMT+1 but I will add a new post containing all the new information the reason for the time between races is I have other commitments to attend to on the weekend of the 20th By Giving this much notice until our next race it give you all time to sign up and get a set up sorted Byran and My self have a Ranking system that allows us to add drivers names to the series and then upload the quali and race results xml and the software dose all the hard work. If this is going to become a regular Sunday night thing I have 2 questions for you all Q1/ Would you like to use the Driver standing software to track your points and most of all the other information that can be extracted from rfactor 2 Q2/ would you all be willing to install F1elite All car All Tracks so we have a lot more tracks to race on Bryan and myself have installed the All cars All tracks on our box and tested it and we must say Mill with F2 rocks this is only something we are thinking of and depends on how many of you would be willing to install the All cars All tracks we do not wish to split the drivers we all ready have, Have a good think about it and if it looks like you are all willing to get stuck in to some cool Sunday night races with All car All Tracks can be found attached to this post again I will add these to the race thread if this is the way we go but even if we do not for those of you that wish to drive them 1960 cars on a few more tracks then these files will let you do it. Luck is on my side, I was supposed to work that Sunday but they have moved it to Saturday instead so I should be free. Q1/ Yes, no problem with collecting stats Q2/ Already installed the F1elite mod A question for you Dany, do you have a setup for an F3 for Monaco? As I said I'm not great with setups and that one you gave me for the F2 Spark at Spa worked out well for me. Cheers Andy
Sorry, I have caused some confusion there. I meant that I was scheduled to work on the Sunday when the race is being held so would not have been able at attend. They re-scheduled MY WORK to Saturday so now I will be available for the race on SUNDAY. Sorry for the confusion nikos, my fault completely. Hope to see you again at the race on Sunday 27th. Cheers Andy
excuse for non topic, a friend has a problem, if you could help please? http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/5449-Desperate-for-help-with-commercial-servers
wondering, why not do Sunday night permanent (exept this one, my home team takes part at basket final four lol) ? You could go from Monaco to Spa every other week too. Suppose you guys have thought of it already.
