    dont be ignorant Tim, correct your bright in monitor and see again (its dark tire texture)

    i shown yours fr35_ttread02.dds file, check by yourself if you dont see image

    tell as Tim, how much ISI paid graphic designers who dont know how compress files correct?

    Lol, I can see it.. Just look at the image from different angles..

    It's like those 3D images that you need to stare at to realize something is there :)

    He got a bit agressive tone, but has a minor point there... Skippy suffers from the same, the tires are "banding" a little. I thought it was a limit of the DDS or HDR effect somehow.

    And I really hope you didn't buy the FR3.5 '14. Who sold it to you? I got mine for free. :p

    I`ve noticed what you refer to in the past Antaeus although it is very hard to see in your posted images...

    As others have said though, your tone/attitude is quite aggressive. English may not be your native language so fair enough but if you want to ask these questions or point out "bugs" in the sim then you`d get on far better if you asked in a more friendly way...

    To be honest I'm not sure to understand this texture problem. is it really about texture quality or resolution of F3.5 tires? I don't think so, I found those tires to be really pretty and well define,, I spent nearly one hour on this camera view just to see this tire and how it react:



    As I probably missed a point, could you please explain what's wrong with those tires?

    Could it be they are different textures for the speed blurry effect when it turn quickly?

    There's a slightly brighter, brownish tinted band in the center of the tire, it's only showing in some angles as in others the light/shading overplay it.

    You see this easier on the Skippy slicks.

    Mmmmm, I see. I thought it was due to the contact patch, the part in contact with the road, which is lightly more used than the side part... If it's really a graphic glitch (I found instead it's pretty accurate IMHO), it's nothing that could prevent me to sleep to be honest. Ok, thanks for the explanation GCCRacer :)

    Agreed I thought it was trying to convey the less glazed area, the contact patch :/

    Strange way to go about asking a question, but each to their own. People seem to respond appropriately at least.

    You are correct. All ISI mods use 3 different textures for tires, depending on speed of rotation. One sharp, one slightly blurred and one very blurred.
