[WIP] F1 RMT 2001 Conversion

There's my 1999 WCP conversion, but being my first one it isn't that great quality-wise, mostly the handling.

I've taken over this 2001 project, but it will probably take me around 6 months to complete it. Everything has to be redone, the car body (for dx11), and the physics...

I have a problem with DX11 where the car isn't reflective. Not sure if there's something extra I need to do?

i didn't start watching again til 2006. At least with Hamilton and Rosberg you had the drama between them.

01 had the fight between Hakkinen and Schumacher but Ferrari were starting to get their backhanders off the FIA and it made it unwatchable.

Best season to bring to RF2 would be 06 because there were no OP cars in that season.

Couldn't agree more with that part. Let, at least let the drivers fight (when a team overcome others too easily). Drivers fighting each other is the principal reason i will aways be a mclaren fan.
Im glad that Mercedes is going this way.
*im not saying they dont have a favorite driver and the chosen one, probably, will have more autonomy dealing with the car and team, car updates, etc but.... we can see when some result are staged by the drivers. I remember Barrichello :D
 
I mean it was the V10 era, the McLaren Mercedes started my interest in F1,
was my favorite team with Mika Häkkinen and later Kimi Räikkönen. (My desktop image is
the 2004 version) I would gladly pay to see all the races from 1999 and 2005 again.
(in better quality then you can see now at y-tube and dailymotion) Hell I would gladly
pay for all seasons....why doesn't F1 sell this as a streaming service? I cant be the only one.

It's probably something ridiculous like Bernie still owns the rights to the full races of that time.

F1 is missing a trick. V8 Supercars has SuperView for non Oz-NZ residents and you get all the races on demand and its CHEAPER for a WHOLE YEAR than it is for Sky Sports a month.

Something like the WWE has with the WWE network where you can go back and watch old races would be great. Will keep the "we don't want v6s 'real fans' want v10s" crowd quiet.

Updated all shaders and textures for dx11.
It is necessary to work with reflections of body, to make animated driver.
The project has started and will be completed, but most likely it will be private.
Of course you can get it, absolutely free. When the time comes I'll let you know how to do it.

Looks amazing! I would love to play this, are you saying we would be able to get the mod? Cause honestly I would love to play it more than anything
