[WIP] F1 RMT 2001 Conversion

Hey Schumi,
Thanks for all the mods!

I have a problem with the FFB on this mod and the other ones you converted from rF1. I get FFB below ~40mph but as soon as the car goes beyond that speed, the steering wheel becomes completely loose with no FFB effects.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Do I need a RealFeel or plugin of some sort or another setting change?

I have a Logitech DFGT and the FFB works fine with some other mods like the F1 2016 and the ASR F1 mods.

Hi tonnyrat! The default FFB can be a little bit weak in this mod, depending on the wheel you have. I have a G27 and I use a "car multiplier" of 1.00 for this mod, and a "FFB minimum torque" of 10%. Those settings work excellent for me, and I have a good FFB at all speeds. Please try this settings!

PS: sorry for asking, but do you have the last version of this mod?o_O

Ah, going to test it now. I normally run 0.5% min Torque and a 1.00 multiplier. And yes, this is all with the latest version.

Just tried your settings juancito and something is still very off. It made the vibrations, curbs and some resistance FFB on straights work OK. But on turns, the wheel goes completely loose with 0 resistance. Example being first 2 turns in China/Shanghai where the wheel goes completely limp with 0 feedback at all from any direction. I turned up the Minimum Force and Multipliers to see if I could get anything different but nothing worked. It just made the other working parts of the FFB stronger.

That's weird! You can check your settings in the Logitech Profiler. The global intensity must be 100% and you have to tick "enable centering spring". I don't know if these are the best settings, but they are my settings and work very fine.
A more "extreme" solution could be to delete the "controller.json" file inside rFactor2\UserData\player. You will lose your controller configuration, but re-configuring the controller ingame could be a solution.

Tried your settings, deleting the .JSONfile, deleting the whole UserData folder and starting from scratch. Nothing works to fix it. It seems like the FFB is backwards or something during turn in. Just disappears. This doesn't happen on stock content or other mods (ASR, MAK-C, URD). Only on these F1 rF mod conversions.

I'm sorry to hear that! You are right, the FFB is weak. For some reason it feels good in my wheel, but @Schumi thinks the same way as you. We are trying to make it better. Sorry again, stay tuned!

No need to apologize. I appreciate the hard work everyone in the community puts in! Thank you for the help and I'll keep my eye out for an update.
