F1 MCLAREN CHROME help

    I searched this topic, but unfortunately he does not speak of chromium :(

    Shader car paint.
    The settings are in specular values put specular 255, 50, min fres 1, max fresnel 2 and in the third value 5 (sorry cant remember the name, is the same disposition both in Max and 3Dsimed).
    Specular map light gray.
    In cube map settings put blend 100% and the values are min fres 0.4, max fresnel 2 and in the third value 1 (this last value make the chrome, if you put 5 you have a normal car paint).
    And in livery alpha channel full white is chrome.

    Thank you for the answer. I had open 3DSimed and I imported FiSI2012_Carbody_Max.gmt. I clicked on "Material Edit" and "wccarbody" . I search the line "specular map". But here is a problem: In "Channel 2" I see :

    "specular map" => "fisi_2012_body_s.dds"
    "Bias" =>"0.000000"
    "Mip Mapping" => "True"

    I do not see where to change the values​​. I must not understand a step ...

    After the texture slots you have the specular and cube map values, rigth now im not at home, when i be there i put a screenshot for you.

    Edit: that is the specular map, you have 5 maps, first is the color or base map (the color and shades of the car itself), second is the same but with damage, third is the specular map wich in this case must be light gray, this map give you the amout of specular light will receive the model, the fourth map is the bump map wich gives you the bump or relief and the fifht map is cube map, this last is the reflection, you must check "live mapper" and you gonna have real time refelctions, the ISI ones have already checked.

    Thank you very much :) it works. :)

    Now I have to create the file for McLaren FiSI2012_Carbody_Max_MCL.gmt and FiSI2012_Carbody_Max_MCZ.gmt for mercedes. If I do not do that even Ferrrari, Williams, Force India are chrome.
    I do not want the other cars are chrome, you know how to adjust the specular map for more reflection? (but not of chromium, as in the F1RFT2013 mod)

    In "fresnel reflect" you have the values fresnel min 0.4, fresnel intensity 2.0, fresnel power 1.0, change the last value "fresnel power" for 5, use that for regular car body material.

    So, you gonna must use different GMTs.

    The McLaren in Malaysia, we can see the chrome:

    As against, Nurburgring and Jerez, it is not apparent:

    This means that if the circuit does not include reflections, there will be no chrome?

    And the Ferrari, we can see reflect on Malaysia, but in Nurburgring there is like a white veil:

    Your are right, the circuit dont have reflections.

    I already have Nurburgring and Jerez with reflections, i will upload today.

    And Now I have too much reflections on Helmet. I tried to modify the fresnel reflect...it don't work... :(
