Hi everyone... Hope someone can shed light on this. Yesterday I uninstalled the RF2 game, and today did a totally clean, empty folder re-install. After many hours, it is up and running but the DevMode will not boot no matter what I do. Currently I am running v1120 with the old UI and normally it works, but now I click and it disappears like it is going to go into DevMode...then goes back to the selection screen. I have no idea what to do, even clicking directly on the file it will not boot. I am troubleshooting a project and now all that is halted. Mike
Have you tried making a direct shortcut icon to devmode? Im running the new UI so I use a direct shortcut. copy shortcut and rename it. change destination to: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64\rFactor2 Mod Mode.exe" and start in, to: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\" some times I have to open it twice before it opens in dev mode with old UI.
Hey Thomas, Thanks for that. I finally got it to work using the method you showed. So the Mod Mode does now not work via the old launcher either by the look of it.... Thanks heaps!! Mike
