I absolutely love the new Karts. Words fall short at describing the immensity of enjoyment I'm having with driving these little pocket rockets. It was rFactor 2 that got me interested in motorsports in the first place and ever since that point, i had the intent of one day saving up to buy my own kart and get involved in real races when I'm economically able to. Now the kart mod have finally came out and I feel so content with it that i'd rather spend what temporary savings i have for that dream, instead on a servo wheel for these newly released karts (at least for the now), lol. The kart ffb is in my view the best of all the vehicles released by ISI thus far. Here's a clip from last night online (available in 1080p). Short prelude: Got punted off the track fair number of times and fell back, the hunt and battle was on to reclaim a podium finish. Same video again but with steering/pedal input telemetry ontop:
I just noticed your video's ViSo. Very nice driving, very smooth and very quick!!! Do you make any setup changes? And if so, is it based on any experience you have from karting irl? We should race sometime this week....would be a fun battle. I'm leaving for a month of Sunday, so not a lot of time for it to happen if your up for it.

He pushed you at Bergwerk, not surprising, this turn is hard to get right, with the Megane i'm 15kph slower than AI there.
Very good Tim, nice driving and a good race to watch... What were the settings for the race? AI? If so what strength? Default car set up etc?
Default setup with brake bias to 56.5. 99% AI 50% Agg. Skipped qual (you can see some of the faster drivers like Zamparelli making their way through like I am).
I thought it was on 25/30ish but i just checked as you asked and it was on 75 the thing is I don't remember changing it so may be it changed when installing the new UI. Just went back to ISI UI and its on 25, also its possible I used ISR's server mod when making the video which would have different race settings to mine. I'll make another vid with lower aggression to replace it me thinks as they do go a bit nutty. Whats the highest aggression to have with karts?
I use 50% and it seems perfect for them. They differ slightly from race to race, some starts they seem like it's really 60%, sometimes they seem like they're really on 40%, but 50% gets the cleanest results for me.
