Car hitting invisible barriers in developer mode - SOLVED Well got my test peices loaded but now when running in developer mode and running on track I crash into invisible stuff and car jumps high into air. Can't even do half a lap. Any ideas?
Do you perhaps have a single huge racesurface* object? I've found that if a racesurface object becomes too large the car will start jumping around and oscillate wildly, sending it high into the air sooner rather than later. Other than that, are you sure you only have your visible meshes in the .scn and no leftovers set to render=false? All materials correctly assigned physical properties through corresponding .tdf entries?
Im sure its not other objects as i started with just a simple plane and expanded from there. Wasnt there something when RF2 came out where people were reporting this in the game, couldnt find it through search tool, keep looking though. thanks for reply edit - solved it was the feature in the controller ini file <Skip updates="1"> which has its own file for developer mode.
