Just did about 40 minutes offline using the new Release Candidate with the BTCC cars at Laguna Seca and the newest AMD Pro drivers. (v23.9.3) Good if not GREAT fps and no lockups or CTD. Still early in the game to say for certain though.
Tried the new drivers too, worked fine for a testdrive on Bugatti and a race in the tatuus last night on Mores.
New driver (v23.9.3) working good on my end (RX 6700XT). Things seem to look better too. Monitored heat via HWiNFO64 (latest version) with minimum 38.0 ºC, maximum 76.0 ºC, and average of 60.0 ºC. 24 cars on track (992 GT3 Cup) at Spa. Glad to be able to use the latest Radeon drivers at last. A big thank you for the fix! Now back to racing...
I did get a CTD In one occasion... While using a recent (today) downloaded content mods, the F1 1986 Historical Edition Cars by Oliver_Ray, and his F1 1986_1988 Historical Edition Tracks v3.13. The crash (x2) happened while racing on the Monaco track of the mod with the McLaren. I uninstalled both mods and went on to race on Azur with the S397 F2 and all went well again. Also, I now get this faint very subtle audio hiccup In rF2. This happens In any audio of the game.
It crash when clicking on a rf2 loading screen. all pc freeze. happened 3 times now. No point in clicking on a loading screen but if I do it all freezes. Loading screens, is anything where rf2 loads some thing, like joining online server, loading track etc.
