Again, with a problem. And even my previous problems stay unsolved.

I want to have better control over reflections. Problem is that I get environmental reflection in material when I only wanted to assign specific cube map. I have left the REFMAP0 off, but still I get environmental reflections. Needless to say, this is not problem in tracks that do not have env reflection objects.

I guess this is a bug?

    Have you unchecked "live mapper"?

IIRC all shaders using a cube map will use the dynamically created environment reflections cube map.
Unless environment reflections has been turned off on the user-side in the graphical settings that is.

Been a while since I modded, but could you not use the texture's alpha channel to control the amount of reflection for certain parts of your texture (thus certain parts of your vehicle)?

Opps, reread your post, my response wouldn't apply, sorry.

Yes sure, but I'd like to control whether to use environmental reflection maps or certain cube map.

Im not sure what your trying to reflect but you can always fake a static reflection with a semi transparent texture.
