Here's looking at you kid, in the blue Spark. Couldn't figure out what you were doing. Looked like some...ritual dance. For a moment I wondered, should I do this ???!!!
Haha yes I saw you. I was so confused and didn't know what to do because I did not want to hit you or anything like this. So I just waited there and stared at you until you were gone
Hi all, I've signed up, finally. Looking forward to race you guys. Anything else I need to do to race sunday?
A big welcome to member number 38 Hypernurbs, more faster drivers I hope you enjoy your racing here at ARI and we'll do our best to provide some great online racing. Lets leave the update for until after this race. My record with pre race updates is no so good given the fact we've had 3....
Subject Pit bug crashes Good idea, if people come early we can test. If there is a problem, an untested idea I have to get round it is when someone crashes and while that person or persons are still crashed out of the server for Fergy to add AI to the game (F3 cars). This in hope they will occupy the pit stalls that don’t work. When the humans players rejoin the server, hopefully they will find them selves in a garage spot that does not crash. Keep the AI in place until the start of the race in case we have late people join. Like I say this is all untested so may or may not work . Sounds crazy I know. Think of this as the backup plan . It’s beta DJC
good idea DJ, it's worth a try. If we have the numbers early we can try a couple of experiments. getting excited about the race
Day and night event is a great idea. Unfortunatly i will miss this race today, i had no time to practice Good luck all! So Nikos will you catch up due to your missed race at Brianza (you need 8 points)? Even exciting without racing
well my game crashed on me so that pissed me off big time plus im not sure if anyone else has this but when transitioning to night the track lights don't come on so i can't see a thing and can barley see whats in my mirrors if i escape to the pits and go back out they will be on. basically i was racing from memory i couldn't even see the apex of turn until i was about 3 meters from them i not a happy guy right now...
As race 2 is taking place I feel as frustrated as Paul right now. In my case is as if Murphy had climbed my car, and all his laws took place in my racing. If anything can go wrong.... it went worse in my case. When race 2 was restarted (had left the computer in anger after some cars crashed and just could not avoid them losing my right rear wheel),I was foot naked. That made for a hardly imposible driving ending up in crashing. . . . .
That's really too bad, Gorka. Race 1 I took the pole but it was close. Didn't start too well but kept P1 and after some laps the gap between David Coyne and me grew more and more so I could nurture the car a little, also avoiding backmarkers. Second race I screw up and got hit a couple of times, I think for me, mostly misjudging corner-speed from others. So I had to pit for damage-repair and ended up 12th. Still had some great fights and overtakes and fastest lap (2.01.6xx) as well so cheers!
Sorry to hear guys, next race coming up soon. For me night time was very good, obviously the chicane is hard to see but the lighting was fantastic going in and out of the sunset and rise. Reverse order is a bit of fun, god knows why the SC came out but the restart was very well controlled by all. We tested it... with massive crashes and nothing. I'm lost with that one. @Paul, annoying when the pc crashes as I know. Is it just your screen res or picture quality that's the problem or is it just not working for you at night? @Gorka, great race 1 for you, bad luck in the 2nd. Better luck next race
