The Magnificent Marcel showed why he is one of the best getting around with 3 from 3 wins while DJ's consistency still leaves him heading the tables with 3 others biting at his heels. With only two races to go in the Fun Race series before it's heating up for an exciting finish. If guys can test out the pit stop situation we will add a stop into this race. Interested to get some feedback.
At Palm Beach it did not crash. We will test it at Portugal as it'd be nice to be pitting again. If pitstop is to be made, will the fuel be set to X4?
By the way, if we consider the laptimes we are actually doing, 16 laps will take more than half an hour. I don't mind that race length, but... just to tell.
11 laps should be around 21-22 min races. If we pitted using 4x fuel burning then 10 laps should be enough to be 20+ minutes.
My pit crew hate me. Enough said on that . Tomorrow our clocks go back 1 hour. Won't be British Summer Time no more. New plan boss?
Dont forget people, we are having the modern F2 2012 race, tommorow Sunday 28th of October, at 20:00 GMT.
Yes, it's going to be a nive event, first time we run such fast cars, hope many people come so we can see how we deal with traffic at this speeds. Is the race length established? fastest laps should be 1'04"XXX so 20 laps could just be it. Will we have a mandatory pit stop?
I think having a mandatory pit stop in this race will be good testing for next league event. Not sure on the amount of laps yet, possibly 18/19 if we are having a pit stop.
Still in two minds about this event...I am a reasonably good Touring Car driver, but this open wheel stuff is not coming to me at all. So rather than be a rolling chicane I think I may bow out. F2 that is, I will still struggle away with the F3's
Thanks G, 11 laps sounds good, keeping it around 20 minutes of racing per race. The start time will still be 8pm UK time and I will adjust the counter later today. Lets add a pit stop. One compulsory stop is required.
